Guest guest
Ambrotose contains important sugars which are vital in Cell-To-Cell Communication. It also helps your Immune System because your Immune System is mainly a communications network of cells. I think Mannatech's products helped about 35% of the people in 100% of ALL degenerative disease categories after two months. People took three products of their choice. [i think their best sellers now are Ambrotose, PLUS, Manaloe, Phytaloe]. A research firm working with Olympic-class athletes and having over 20 years of research in natural supplements did studies on Mannatech's products. The firm was amazed at the increase in muscle-to-fat ratios. As I said before, my flabby muscles felt firmer on the third day--without my exercising! The most surprising part of the study was that people reported improvements in EVERY DISEASE CATEGORY except the two eating disorders which were put in as controls--anorexia and bulimia. Joy P.S. Someone suggested taking DHEA. I would prefer a precursor to DHEA, such as in the wild yam or Mannatech's PLUS, rather than taking the mother hormone DHEA itself. My body will then regulate how much hormones to make, so I won't meed to worry about getting an overdose of testosterone and growing a beard. An even better choice than precursors to DHEA would be taking nutrients that enables my adrenal cortex to produce its own optimal levels of DHEA, but I haven't found that product yet. If money is a concern, you can save money by fitting the dose to your body weight. Since I'm tiny, I can cut one tablet in half; take half in the morning and half at night, and still obtain strong muscles (one bottle would last three months). Sometimes I rotate Cell Medicines and forget to take PLUS until I realize my muscles are flabby again. Once, a 6-foot gentleman offered to help me carry a box filled with books. When he took it, he said, " Boy, it's heavy! " I noted he was on the flabby side, and was surprised that this 6-footer had difficulty with the box, since it did not seem that heavy to me [i was taking PLUS at that time. The PLUS also strengthened my back muscles so I did not have a backache carrying the box. ] If I recall correctly, DHEA was once a prescription drug, but the patent ran out. I read that the FDA wants it as a prescription drug again. Isn't it illegal of them to do that? The FDA has already outlawed selling adrenal cortex, which many health companies were using because it has precursors of DHEA. Pray that the new FDA Chief will make a 100-degree turn-a-round to undo harmful FDA actions, and bring health back to Americans. -------------------------------------------------------------------- >And here's my 2 cents worth about the company MANNATECH. I wish more companies would do this -- discuss a product's limitations. No product can be taken seriously otherwise. I am asking this of Sam Grant about his product, but I haven't heard back from him yet. BTW, I am doing some side research in anorexia and bulimia. I would appreciate any help I can get re effective treatments. It is amazing how common they are -- and how dangerous!
Guest guest
, You took my comments out of context. The following paragraph was written immediately above the one you inferred came from Mannatech's statistics. QUOTE-- " I think Mannatech's products helped about 35% of the people in 100% of ALL degenerative disease categories after two months. People took three products of their choice. " --UNQUOTE As you can see, I did not say 100% of the people who took Mannatech's products reported improvements in 100% of all disease categories. I said " about 35% of the people in 100% of all degenerative disease categories " were helped. [They reported improvements in their diseased conditions.] And I did not say that Mannatech gave out the data I quoted. After the pre-trials, I spoke to one of the scientist involved in the research. It was several years ago, and--if I remember correctly, the scientist said something like: " In one [geographical] area, 33% of the people reported improvements in the [diseased] condition; in another area, 35% reported improvements... " The people studied were living all over the U.S. The results were surprising to Mannatech because they did not know their products would create such wide-felt improvements in all the categories of diseases. I think this is when they figured that Cell-To-Cell communication was involved, which led to the formulation of another now best-selling product--Ambrotose. Mannatech's products are especially effective for older people with degenerative diseases. This includes heart diseases, since PLUS strengthens not only your arm muscles, but ALL muscles, including your heart. When I took PLUS, I found I needed to also take a good detoxifying product, such as " Super Food " or " Juice Plus, " because I would feel the cleansing-detox-lethargic feeling. [i was very ill at that time.] I would also recommend True Health Inc.'s powder for people who are weak. It's an almost complete food, and will help nourish your Immune Cells. Just add " Barleans Essential Fatty Acids/Cottage Cheese " and an Immune Support for best results. I think it can be extracted from aloe vera or yeast. I can not seem to find much about it on the medline. Can you post some studies that demonstrate the immune stimulatin properties of mannin or ambrotose? When you say " sugar " I guess you mean polysaccharide. There are many types of polysaccharide " sugars " ......... are also found in Medicinal mushrooms and of course beata glucan as well. generally many polysaccharides sugars have immune stimulating and anti cancer properties. But I am interested in published studies of mannin and ambrotose, are there any? moonbeam
