Guest guest
Hello everyone, My name is and I am new to this group. I have worked for a cancer hospital for seven years. A change in direction for my career has me no longer working there anymore. I no longer work in healthcare either. However, I learned so much over those seven years and working with people that I needed to continue my work with people dealing with cancer. So I built my website, http://BeatingCancerBookstore.com We have support groups through eGroups. Nothing the size yet of this group. I hope to have the same volume of interaction that CancerCure has. Looking at the discussion topics you have, this looks like a very exciting group. Nice work, Bob. I'm not here to plug my site, but more to continue my learning of what is being discussed in the way of alternative treatments. With communities like these, we can educate each other of what is out there and continue to chip away at this disease. I look towards the day when we converse about cancer the way we do polio. Please welcome me to your community. I will stay in the background unless I have something worthy to contribute to the group. If you desire, check out the site. I would appreciate any feedback you would have. -
Guest guest
Thanks for pointing that out. I really appreciate you letting me know. I can't believe I did not put the " www " in front of it. This time it should work. - > Hello , > Welcome to the list. I could not pull up your website. Guest guest
, I looked at your website. The books superficially seem informative, but they tend to be conventional, naive, and pollyannaish -- even those you list as alternative. You might request suggestions from the list as to what books they'd like to see made more available to cancer patients.
