Dr. Gammill,

Your answers and opinion would be appreciated relative to the following; would you please post them to cures for canceregroups.

Dr. Gammill states: " If you go through the medical and biological journals and you do not understand science, then you will think that you see conspiracies and cures everywhere.You will find thousands of compounds that 'cure' cancer in cell lines and in mice. These do not extend well to humans and this is for many reasons..... "

However, Dr. Gammill, what on earth happened during the course of the Spanish study? It took place at the Department of Oncology, Hospital General de Asturias, Oviedo, Spain; and Department of Experimental Biochemistry, Clinica Puerta de Hierro, Madrid and was reported in 'The Lancet', January 12, 1980, pages 68-70; the authors were A. Brugarolas and M. Gosalvez; these passages from it are found on pages 4 and 5 of www.jsr1936.com (j.s.r. 8/10/2000 - replaced by www.datadepo.com/cures for cancer/tac-cure.htm):

" Thiazolidine-4-carboxylic acid.....Histological studies showed involution and transformation into low-grade malignancies and disappearance of evidence of cancer. "

Dr. Gammill states: " .....Thioproline has been tried at some of the Mexican cancer clinics and I have seen no rise in cure rates..... " (j.s.r. 8/13/2000 - Dr. Gammill, at this time would you please provide the group with the name, address, and telephone number of at least one of those clinics. Also, what sort of reports were you reading from which you drew the conclusion, '.....I have seen no rise in cure rates.....').

Dr. Gammill states: " When idiocy like this cure is put on the internet it gives all alternative and and natural medicine a bad name. Furthermore it invites government involvement and with government involvement it will become increasingly difficult to obtain those things that do work. "

Boy of Boy oh Boy, Dr. Gammill, during the course of the past 21 months I sure would have appreciated a little bit of government involvement.

On page 30 of www.jsr1936.com there is a color picture of me holding a stack of individual letters which I have written to government health officials and other parties who I thought might be interested in seeing a possible cancer cure; that stack presently weighs 8 lbs. - remember - this is a stack of individual letters, not a bunch of copies.

Since November, 1997, I have been imploring government health officials to repeat the Spanish study, only this time as I stated on page 30 of www.jsr1936.com:

" If I, speak the truth, Cancer can be Cured by swallowing 'mega-doses' of Thiazolidine-4-carboxylic acid ('Equal' and L-Cysteine) and vitamin C, and 'above average' amounts of magnesium, zinc and manganese. "

" If my words prove true, it is a tragedy that this cure is not being provided to mankind. "

I cannot understand the reluctance and the reticence with which the National Institutes of Health (NIH) has approached my proposal. After all, I have simply suggested that the Spanish clinical trial be repeated with a few modifications. I wish to reiterate that this is an established clinical trial which was reported in one of the world's foremost and prestigious medical journals - 'The Lancet'.
