Hello Sam,

It is great that your product SeaCare has been tested at universities

and at NIH. Where do we find the reports? I looked on medline under " sea

cucumber " and " cancer " but I found only one English language citation, and

it reported intestinal tumors within sea cucumbers. I found one Russian

language citation that reported that Ehrlich adenocarcinoma was inhibited by

half if Japanese sea cucumber was used at a dosage of 15,000 mg/kg. That

means that the average-sized person must use about a kilo(dried?) per day.

I found no references to arthritis, but an extract of sea cucumber might

make a safe contraceptive.

Japan cucumaria possesses an inhibitory action on the solid Ehrlich

adenocarcinoma. The optimum dose, 15000 mg/kg, is established which provides

a 46.49% of the growth inhibiting. The delay of the malignant process

development is followed by normalization on phospholipid metabolism in the

liver of tumour-bearing mice: the contents of phosphatidylcholine reached

the normal level, the contents of sphingomyelin decreased, a portion of

lysophosphatidylcholine and lysophosphatidylethanolamine was considerably

reduced. The results obtained show that certain doses of cucumaria improve

metabolic processes in the liver.

The preclinical study of embryotoxicity of a new immunomodulator

cucumariosid was carried out. Cucumariosid at long-term use exerts no effect

on the generative function of rats, the general condition of pregnant

females and the postnatal development of the offspring, possesses no

teratogenic action. The use of the drug in the preimplantation period of

pregnancy and the implantation period produces the contraceptive effect.
