Thyroid temps...

How about using a digital thermometer? I have the worst time trying to read

a regular thermometer, esp. at six in the morning. I do take my temp every

morning, but it's w/ the digital. I usually register around upper 96s to low

97s. Any suggestions?

Doc says my thyroid has shut down. No bloody wonder since they had me take

33 rounds of radiation for breast cancer when I was already slightly

underactive. I think I now know more than he does. He's a good and

genuinely caring guy, but definitely allopathic all the way.

I'm currently taking 2 grains of Thyroid under his care, and I'm also taking

Lugol's twice a week, basically to see if my thyroid really has shut down. I

figure if the palms of my hands & soles of my feet turn yellow, I'll know

it's not taking up the iodine. Any suggestions/comments?

If I knew then what I know now.... I need a bigger brain to hold all this

valuable info in!
