Guest guest
On December 31, 1999, this letter was first posted to The Internet resource cures for canceregroups www.jsr1936.com The Cure for Cancer? jsr1936@... Attention Debbie Hamonic and Dr. Noel , Consultant Clinical Research Scientist, Graduate School of Integrative Medicine, Swinburne University of Technology, Australia Dr. , I shall answer every point raised in your December 30 posting - 'Thioproline' - , but first I would like to obtain Debbie's advice. Debbie thanks to your input about 'glutathione' I am suggesting 'mega-doses' of Thioproline, vitamin C and NAC (N-Acetyl Cysteine) and 'above average' amounts of magnesium, zinc and manganese for the treatment of Cancer. Debbie, from reading the recent literature which you have posted to me, it would appear that 'Immunocal' would be a better source of glutathione than NAC. Do you have any thoughts about this? Debbie, for the treatment of HIV/AIDS I have suggested 'mega-doses' of L-2-methylthiazolidine-4-carboxylic acid (L-MTCA) and NAC. L-MTCA is composed of L-cysteine (one half) and acetaldehyde (one half). Both the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and Centers for Disease Control (CDC) have acknowledged that HIV, the AIDS virus, can be inactivated in the test tube by acetaldehyde. In the past, L-MTCA was sold as a 'cough inhibitor'. Dr. Herbert Sprince and his associates discovered in 1975 that 3 compounds afforded laboratory rats 100% protection against a lethal dose of acetaldehyde; those 3 compounds are - 1. NAC 2. L-Cysteic acid.H20 3. The combination of L-Ascorbic acid & L-Cysteine FB & Thiamin.HCL. My question to you, Debbie, or anyone in the group is - " Does anybody know anything about 'L-Cysteic acid.H20? " If it sounds good I will alter my treatment of HIV/AIDS to read - 'mega-doses' of L-MTCA and L-Cysteic acid.H20. Dr. , I wish now to answer each point in your letter - " What is your evidence to support: 1. 'vitamin C affords phenomenal protection against the toxicity of Thioproline' Dr. , I can cite four anecdotal cases - the brother of Helen Gutierrez, Mr. Mike Fernandez, Mr. Jerry Rollins and another member of this group who has prostate cancer. None have reported suffering any ill side effects after swallowing mega-doses of L-cysteine and 'Equal' (formaldehyde) - this combination turned into Thioproline in their bodies; they also swallowed mega-doses of vitamin C. Jerry Rollins reported his experience in a September 5, 1999 posting: " So....for better or worse I'm finished with the 12 day ' Cure'. Except for the closely scheduled regimen it was not harmful in anyway I can as yet determine. No kidney aches, bladder strain, headache, upset stomach....as a matter of fact I don't see how it can do me any good if there's not some suffering. Isn't that a fact of life...no gain without pain? Tuesday I'll have a PSA test so we'll all see. Won't it be fantastic if I can stop cantron, etc. and not worry about debilitating hormone followed by chemo. Of course the '12 day' is chemo but apparently a harmless and quick one. It's nice to know there are many out there monitoring my progress. If it's worked all I'll need do is take what's necessary to keep my immune system in top shape. Best, JR " " 2. that vitamin C does not affect the efficacy of Thioproline " Dr. , would you please re-phrase this question; I don't understand it. " Transformation into low-grade malignancies does not mean no cancer, it simply means a change of the nature of the cancer. What were the long term results for these patients? " Dr. , not much of a follow up was done. The medical community of the world has put forth a SCANTY, SKIMPY, PUNY, PALTRY effort to investigate one of the most glorious discoveries of all time - evidence seems to point to the fact that Thioproline cures Cancer. See my posting, 'To Dr. Varmus, Director, National Institutes of Health (NIH)'. For example, what did the National Cancer Institute (NCI) boldly and forthrightly do in 1980 after it obtained these results of the Spanish research in which Thioproline was administered to human beings - " .....Histological studies showed involution and transformation into low-grade malignancies and evidence of cancer. " " Thioproline.....had a considerable antitumour effect in epidermoid carcinoma of the head and neck. Definite signs of activity were observed in epidermoid carcinoma of other regions and in other solid tumours, such as breast, renal, ovary, thyroid, and parotid cancer. " The NCI sponsored an experiment in which rats and mice were subjected to Thioproline. Even in this decade researchers don't seem to want to follow up on the intriguing possibilities suggested by compounds containing Thioproline (Tac). See pages 1 and 2 of www.jsr1936.com. I have been continually sending my research to Professor Schally; however, I received this response from his office, letter dated November 29, 1999: " Dear Mr. : Enclosed please find your most recent correspondence that was mailed to Dr. Schally. With regrets, this letter comes to request you remove Dr. Schally's name from your mailing list....., as he is extremely busy with his research and cannot devote any extra time to these problems. I would appreciate your consideration in granting this request. Sincerely, Administrative Secretary " " No research institute is going to launch human trials based on a hunch " Dr. , I am not operating on a hunch. I am citing established clinical research which was compiled at two medical establishments in Spain 20 years ago. By the way, this research was reported in one of the world's foremost and prestigious medical journals, 'The Lancet'. This was a human trial. " Animal trials will need to be performed to determine the efficacy & safety of what you suggest. " Dr. , I disagree. We already have the results of the Spanish research in which Thioproline was administered in daily amounts of 5 mg/kg orally, 20 mg/kg intravenously and 40 mg/kg intramuscularly. I am simply suggesting that we can increase the oral dosage if we have the patient swallow 'mega-doses' of vitamin C. It could be a gradual increase. We already know that 5mg/kg orally was administered 20 years ago. Not much of a result was achieved, but guess what? - remission occurred in renal-cell cancer, and it is my understanding that this type of cancer (kidney) is almost impossible to cure. " Do we have a copy of the European studies that showed 'insufficient activity for further research'. " Dr. , I have been unable to locate the 'European Study' of 1983 to which Dr. Brugarolas referred; see posting, 'To Dr. Varmus.....'. " Is Brugarolas available on line to discuss this approach? " Dr. , I don't know. Perhaps Mrs. Judy Singer could help us out. She was the last person that I know of to be in contact with him. Judy is a member of this group. " If you cannot reproduce results in other laboratories then there is something wrong and this needs to be sorted out before further research is designed. " Dr. , for the past two years I have been continually imploring the Federal Health Officials in the Washington, D.C. area to repeat the Spanish clinical trial in the manner I have suggested. No one has definitively responded to me. " To be suggesting patients whip up Thioproline in their kitchen is outrageous considering the negative results of the above research and the paper that I previously posted regarding CNS toxicity. " " Formaldehyde is an extremely dangerous substance which is used to preserve dead tissue. To experiment on ones self with a kitchen home brew is courting disaster and I seriously suggest you stop making these suggestions to desperate cancer patients. " Dr. , cancer patients have three other choices; see posting 'Best censored story - still No. 1?' Dr. , if United States Federal Health Officials had taken some action 2 years ago, and if I had been proven right, cancer patients could be obtaining Thioproline at their local pharmacies today. " Focus your efforts on getting a research group to reproduce the Spanish results. " Dr. , to repeat - for the past two years I have been continually imploring the Federal Health Officials in the Washington, D.C. area to repeat the Spanish clinical trial in the manner I have suggested. No one has definitively responded to me. Dr. , I hope I have adequately answered your questions. If not, please do not hesitate to let me know. Yours truly, S. , Post Office Box H, Hobart, Indiana 46342 (219) 763-1933 Post Script - This letter will constitute my eighth regular Monday posting to cures for cancer@....
