Guest guest
Hello to all. I've been on this list for 3 weeks now and have enjoyed the comments and the sharing. I, too, would like to know if anyone on this list has had any experience with the Apricot seeds. I just started using them 5 days ago and I'm not sure how many to eat, how many each day, etc.. I have looked at all the sites I could find.. some say 10 a day, some have even used 5 per hour. Needless to say, it's confusing and God knows I don't need more of that! I'm female and weigh 125 lbs. My cancer experience (I like the way that sounds) was with breast cancer. I am refusing the chemo route and have changed my whole life and lifestyle with mega doses of vitamins/herbs and " live " food. I've also started using the garlic and castor oil patch directly on the tumor and it seems to be helping. Has anyone tried this garlic treatment and had any success? Appreciate any comments! Thank you! Star
Guest guest
Didi, My son was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer 9 years ago. After having surgery in the states (they were unable to remove all of it) they gave him max 3 mo. to live (he was 13 at the time). They wanted to do chemo and radiation but I declined the invitation. So, I took him to Mexico for a natural treatment. Laetrile, immune augment therapy, selenium, shark cartilage, many vitamins and minerals. After two years he was tumor free! And has been tumor free for 7 years and leads a very productive life. He went to college and has a very good job with no limitations. The treatment was totaly natural. Some people opt for natural and conventional together. But I feel that is a personal choice for the patient. Dr. Andrade gives you all the pros and cons to everything and if the patient does not respond to one treatment he tried another until he finds one that will work. If he does not think that he can help he is a very honest person and will tell you. He is not after your money. If you would like to talk to me on the phone please e:mail me at TWIGGY8481@... and I will give you my phone number. I am forwarding this and your e:mail to Dr. Andrade. God bless you and your family, you are in my prayers. Virginia
Guest guest
Hello, my mother has colon cancer that has spread to her liver. She is currently undergoing chemo. So far her body is not responding to the chemo. Can anyone tell me where I can obtain apricot seeds (Laetrile vitamin B17)? Thankyou in advance for your response. Guest guest
Can anyone tell me the difference between Laetrile, vitamin B17 and apricot seeds. I read the web page and was a bit confused. My impression was that they were all the same. Only one type was needed.

Guest guest
There are 2 organizations that LEGALLY sell the seeds. You can find them on the internet if you search for them on /Altavista. One is the Christian Brothers located in Queens,New York City and the other is on one of the Florida Keys. While they treat many cancers they sure don't work on mens prostate cancers. Their costs are very modest. end. Guest guest
OH? Actually, I spoke with a man who used apricot seeds for his prostate cancer, and he swears by it. Check out the testimonials and call those people up. Some people have been helped. I've talked to quite a few personally. Guest guest
I tried B17 500 miligram tablets, and the seeds in battling Prostate cancer. I used 60 - 70 seeds per day for about 2 months. Several people from this group recommended the Bio-Medic Clinic in Tijuana, Mexico. I decided to go there, and I'm very happy I did. My first visit was November 8, 1999. My PSA was 15.6. On December 21,1999 I had a blood test. I got the results on December 23. My PSA was 0.1. I retested that day, got the results yesterday. It was 0.3. Simply REMARKABLE. You might want to give them a call. They treat all types of malignancy. I don.t have a an e-mail address, but their phone number is (011526) 684-90-11. They'll FAX a copy of their program. I found them to be very caring, and very helpful. Good Luck

Guest guest
The laetrile is made from the kernels in a lab. The natural B17 is found in the apricot kernel. So in a way, they are all B17, but the laetrile is either indictable or in tablet form, while the kernel is usually sold as a whole kernel that is chewed or ground and sprinkled on or into food. It can also be ground and encapsulated. The Cancer Cure Foundation has been donating hundreds of the book " World Without Cancer - the story of B17 " to libraries across the country. You should check to see if your local library has it, and if they don't, you can have them submit a request to the Cancer Cure Foundation for a copy. (800) 282-2873. This book will give you the " whole " story, including the politics behind it. Guest guest
In a message dated 12/28/99 6:32:16 PM Pacific Standard Time, Chere123@... writes: Chere, Apricot seeds as well as Laetrile can be obtained by mail from World Without Cancer (WWW) by calling 1-888-301-1336. My own experience with the seeds is that they make me sick - headaches, nausea, etc.. The seeds contain traces of a form of cyanide, which according to theories espoused by sources other than WWW, may actually be released to the system causing a level of toxic poisoning. Some people have no problem with the seeds, so they may be OK for your Mother. I am presently taking the Laetrile tablets with no problems, as long as I take them with meals. I take the Laetrile pretty much on " faith " as opposed to going on any evidence from objective research on Laetrile. As far as I have been able to determine, there are no reports available of clinical research showing Laetrile to have significant anticancer effects, which have been conducted according to modern experimental practices (controlled, randomized, double-blind testing). Many successful case examples can be cited, however such reports lack statistical significance. May God will be with you and your Mother, << Chere123@... >>
Guest guest
The seeds are simple the " kernels " (or meat) one finds inside, after cracking open the hard shells of an apricot seed. Laetrile (tablet form) is a name given to the supposed anticancer ingredient inside the seed. Its chemically referred to as amygdalin. When you buy Laetrile, you are getting amygdelin extracted from apricot seeds. Vitamin B17 is a name given to amygdalin (or Laetrile) by its earlier proponents. According to the most widely accepted definition of a vitamin however, Laetrile is not really a vitamin. In my view, either seeds or tablets could be taken, and taking both should not be necessary. I take the Laetrile but not the seeds because the seeds make me sick. The best to you,
