I was eating the seed whole and chewing it well. (I am using as a

preventive) However, I seem to get an intestinal upset (loose movements)

from eating only one. Maybe grinding them up is the answer.

Hello, can anyone tell me if apricot kernels will help once a person has

cancer. My mother has colon cancer that spread to her liver. She is on

chemo and not doing well. She has no strength or energy. She can barley

walk across the room. She was diagnosed about three months ago and is 58.

The content of vitamin B17 or laetrile is 4 to 5 mg per American grown

apricot seed.

In other countries, Pakistan for an example, the seed can contain as much as

six times Vitamin B17.

The normal dose is 50 mg for a healthy person. For me, I have prostate

cancer, I take a minimum of 100 mg of B17 via apricot seeds. This means a

minimum of 25 kernels. I take 35 per day.
