With geat sympathy, JR I am sorry to report that my wonderful, dear father passed away this morning from pancreatic cancer. He lived for 6 months after they told him he had cancer. He was on Cantron(which I truly believed helped give him a little more time.) He stopped taking the cantron about 2 weeks ago when he was not able to swallow all the enzymes and cantron any more. I wanted to get him on Hydrazine Sulfate but his doctor never called the Syracuse Cancer center to get the info .( She said it was always busy) I believe that drug would have helped. He was nothing but skin and bones when he died. He literally wasted away. He went from 215pds to 140 (or less)pds. My dad never deserved to die like that. No one does. I will miss him very much. Friday (yesterday) was terrible he was moaning and suffering so much that we all think he truly is in a better place-no more pain. I would like to caution some of you out there that may be dealing with this dreaded disease. My father had hospice coming to his home for about 2 months. He was put on morphine right away. Up until the time hospice came in he was still eating. Right after hospice came in he totally stopped wanting to eat. (I understand this is part of what morphine does to the body.) My mom would lovingly feed him at first but got to the point where she and I would force feed him. (That is a terrible thing to witness) Please do not let hospice come in too early. Yes, I know cancer is the worse pain there is, but there has to an alternative drug to help the pain. Putting a person on morphine (I believe) will help that person to die sooner. I would also like to tell everyone out there to try alternative meds- You will have to do this without your doctors permission because they will not want to take the blame if anything goes wrong. I hope none of you will have to go through what my dad and our family has had to. There has to be a cure for cancer out there. Please don't give up! I hope someone will benefit from this letter. I guess you can now take me of your list. I will try to figure out how to do it the right way. Sincerely, Ps My dad was only 61 (as of Tuesday) when he died. Dr. has a website also. Dr. Coley cured cancers at Sloan Kettering between the late 1800's and 1936. They abandoned his work for radiation treatments is my understanding. His daughter, Helen Nauts is carrying on his work. I got a wealth of information about his/her works. I will try to forward the same as soon as I finish reading some of my emails. However, she has terrible pain in her arm where they removed her lymph nodes. She is currently being treated for chronic pain syndrome and is taking morphine to curb the pain. Does anyone know of any alternative treatments/supplements that she can use instead of the morphine. Anything at all will be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your help Debbie debbie@... We can keep busy to keep from feeling out of control, but truly, do you control your thoughts, or do you just monitor and sift through all the garbage that flows in. Our minds can be in perfect peace, but not in our own power. Satanic lies have no power if we do not agree with them, but we cannot control their input in our own power. Unfortunately, if you open your mind to things that you don't want and you hear it over and over and over and over, you may just start agree with it and then you give the lie power through your action. That is why Christ tells us to take our minds captive to His Word. His word is life, truth and in it we have peace. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. There is only one power that can overcome imaginations and thoughts that exalt itself against the knowledge of God, and that is in Christ (Christ is not a last name, it means anointed). Personally, I prefer the wisdom that comes from God and allow my mind to meditate on His word versus doubt, confusion, lies, worry, hopelessness, etc. Can you control your thoughts? I can't in my own power, but in Christ, I do have authority over my thoughts. Hypnotism is a cheap satanic imitation of God's power over the mind, just like all his other cheap (costly in lives though) magical imitations. But there is no comparison to satanic power over the power of the creator of the universe. God's word said the carnal mind is blinded to the things of the spirit and having been on the blinded side, I know how easy it is to be deceived. All I am saying is; don't think you know it all, check out the origin of hypnotism and do not blindly defend it because it looks good in some ways. Satan comes as an angel of light, and if you are ignorant about satan and his ways and especially if you do not know God's ways, believe me, you can be deceived. So do not get your feathers all ruffled and get offended, just know that there is more to your mind than you know. Think about it, why get angry, just know the truth. Your ignorance does not bother me in the least, and I do not feel I need to justify my faith. It is solid as a rock and can't be shaken and I have total peace? Do you? If not, why not? Ask yourself, not me. Can you have peace when someone calls you a fool, stupid, out of your mind and know it isn't true? I know because I have been there and I use to fear who was I really. But not any longer, I know who I am and I do not fear what you know or what you think. So can you say the same? I pray you can, and I pray if you cannot, you will want to know why? So what am I saying. I am saying, there is no need for debate, just check it out. I have been a hypnotherapist for 12 years and have worked with hundreds of clients. None of them have become " possessed " . If you believe that it promotes demonic possession, then you open ourself to this twice daily because every individual goes through a similar state when falling asleep and awakening. Hypnosis is an aletered state of deep relaxation, allowing the individual more control over the mind-body connection. Meditation is a form of self-hypnosis. It does not lead to demonic possession unless you choose to dabble in something you should't. Herbs are used in witchcraft. Do you use them? Would you call Sigmund Freud, the father of hypnosis, the father of witchcraft? It's your choice....and isn't that what this site is about?..........choices? Now, it's a daily dose of 60mg morphine, 4 times a day, interspersed with Hydrochodone, 7.5 mg, and just last week add to that 600 mg of neutronin 3 times a day---------- and the pain is hard to live with, yet! What more can a woman take? But for the Grace of our Great God, and His comfort and the beautiful Spirit which He has given her, well..... I don't even know how to complete the statement. I would expect that the Just Tea would relieve the pain....It has happened many time that people have been able to go off the morphine in cases like this. Is she using the tea? I failed to mention in my prior note, that Scientific Studies have been done on the light Hypnosis/Visulazation of having the cancer eaten or taken away by the method of choice (my Gueney Hens) and the blood tests show that the T-White Helper Cells increase to boost the immune system, as do other good markers in Children with cancers. " Mind is the Builder, As a Man (or woman) thinketh, so is he " is so true!! Love and God's blessings to all in need. My heart goes out to those who have sent their loved ones home, or are about to. Dieing is not a failure, it is just a completion of a journey. As for effective pain relief. I went to an M.D. who switched to Alternative Medicine Practice recently, with her new Ph.D. and she ordered me some Compounded (powders in caplules) that were used in the 50's that really zaps the pain and breaks up the pain cycle. Thank God, my pain was from new Fractures of Lumbar Spine or Ribs from a fall and not the horrific pain from advanced cancer. She said it is criminal that regular doctors donot keep their patients pain free, with safer non toxic drugs. Dr. Kubler-Ross,M.D.,Author of 'Death and Dying', taught in all medical and nursing schools for many years now, stated that there is no excuse for any cancer patient to suffer. Just proper doses of proper narcotics should be administered. Not to worry about addictions, either they get well and don't need it or they don't, but not to withold the drugs. One example of misuse of narcotics is using Codeine for pain. It was never designed for anything except a cough supressant. Yet is is sold by the ton for 'minor pain'.Liz G. Guest guest Posted September 20, 1999 Report Share Posted September 20, 1999 Based upon your friend's faith, may I recommend that you get her to divine healing service with Hagin, Sr. There is a website for Rhema and it gives his schedules and locations throughtout USA. Rev. Hagin has a healing ministry, is in his 80's and is currently in Ohio until around 9/24. My daughter-in-law went to one of his services (she is a physician), he called out her name and told her what her problem was. He did not know her and she was seated in the back of a large auditorium. I don't recall her saying whether or not she went up for prayer but I know she doesn't have the problem anymore to the best of my knowledge. By his stripes we are healed. You can make payments and no one is refused for lack of funds. I've been there and it's now ten years since the Doctors here in the USA gave me three months to live. After the first year of going to Mexico, my oncologist here said " I don't know what you are doing but whatever - keep it up, you should have been dead 8 or 9 months ago.
