Guest guest
> > Here is a sharp challenge for you dissidents... Kev? Your " sharp challenge " is actually extraordinarily dull- witted...it uses the typical circular logic of today's non-science ( pronounced " nonsense " ). In other words, " You prove you can cure AIDS even though I can't prove HIV causes any illness, nor that it even exists " . I believe that I have covered your query from every conceivable angle. Are you comfortable in that impossible, unescapable, hypothetical, uncomfortable little corner that ill- logic and the non-science virus-hunters have backed you into...? -
Guest guest
Oh, shoosh, ...(when you're hot, you're hot). All kidding aside, I just couldn't resist one more flame email. Poor Kev, he's rather outnumbered... How are things going for you? Still at the same job..? Take care, . > > > > Here is a sharp challenge for you dissidents... > > Kev? Guest guest
Real problems and real answers are hard to come by here. Who on this list actually suffers from some sort of major sickness that could be defined as AIDS? Purcell, and Mike. Everyone else here seems to suffer from nothing but anger and a need to find answers, and vent a little steam. I dislike even using the term AIDS since it is so heavily associated with HIV. doesn't have AIDS, he has lymphoma. It is a cancer, that postive and negative people get alike. However, when he came here, he needed to be cured of the AIDS myth. He also needed moral support and information. As far as I can tell, he's gotten that in varying degrees. He's never told us that the list was worthless because it wasn't helping him. He's trying to take control, and even though he's struggling, he's trying. AIDS is a mental disease. I think, therefore I'm sick. It is a terrible trap that we've been forced into, and no matter how clear the answers are, there's still this heavy cloud of stress that eats at us because we're ostracized, criticized and feared. Whether HIV exists or not, that's a hell of a lot of stress for a human being to take. We're taking on the world, with very little support, and almost no one who will even listen. For me, this list is a place to vent my excess steam, lecture once in a while, and meet new people. It is a stress reliever and that's all I need right now, because even though I should be dying, I feel absolutely fine. I haven't been sick in 4 years now. I think perhaps in 8 years or so, I'll also sue the testmakers for diagnosing me with a false disease. So Kev... even though I respect your action, and your stand, I think you're trying to fight the choir for no reason. If your goal on this list is to help, then help, like you have been. But you don't need to critisize and challenge your fellow list members for their own way of contributing. Besides, what does a hypothetical problem have to do with curing anyone real? Part of curing AIDS, is curing the insanity. Very few people on this list actually need medical advice. When I do, I'll expect Kev and Ed to put in their 2 cents. But for now, I find it quite cathartic to read the various dissident articles, viewpoints and rants that appear on this list. Caer
