Guest guest
, We've discussed this question here before. Its one of personal choice and ethic. If one tested 'poz' and does not believe hiv exists(as specifically claimed) or that it is only a harmless retrovirus....then their attitude would be more careless about. Many claim there is no absolute proof that hiv is the primary or only causitive agent in giving one 'aids' - only a correlative, relative connection whose specific dynamics is unknown. So....not much to go on eh ..or too much to overwhelm one. One could only research, take in all the knowledge he can process and then make up his own mind as to his sexual practice and 'safety' issues. Again a personal choice if one is to engage in sex with others with them knowing their poz status or without them knowing it. We could question whether divulging ones hiv status before sex matters - it may only apply in a moral, ethical sense with those involved and then still there is the question of scientific, documented proof that hiv causes aids ....which many say is only correlative speculation with no bona fide proof. In a multi-factoral paradigm,...one may be more liberal with this 'transmission' issue. I am sure there are many persons of the dissident mindset who see a 'poz' test result as rubbish or junk science - such probably does not deter them from having occasional anonymous sex with others. To him he has his justifications as there really is no harm in it. (although other std may be contacted - is there just as much evidence that hiv is sexually transmitted as there is say...ghonneria(sp?) or syphillus?, etc. ) Others may judge this one if they knew his actions and call such criminal - but they are under the belief that hiv is absolutely the cause of aids and is sexually transmitted as primary way of infection. So how does one really know??? I'm not sure if enough general, collective evidence exists...except for hiv having a correlative connection with aids that hiv is surely sexually transmitted and is the sole, primary direct cause of classical aids. (this may be a very stupid speculation to mainstream doctors, scientists, etc. since they insist tons of collective, objective, even scientific evidence exists that hiv causes aids! - no doubt about it).Of course even if it was....still the progression of the disease will be affecting by multiple factors. So....according to many dissidents....the jury is still out (so it seems from this little entity bobbing along the sea of the information highway). But what the hell do I know? Do you have any knowledge that can enlighten us? Oh,....also....I know some people who have been having sex with anonymous partners for many years....and they swallow semen and take loads of it in their rectum quite willingly and joyously. Why are they still hiv neg? Luck eh. paul On Sun, 22 May 2005 08:43:43 -0700 " Jovan " <humansafe@...> writes: > : > > I Would think that would apply to those that believe that > transmission to > another not being possible, would you or do you have sex with other > people? > This is actually something that I have been thinking of asking this > group.
