yes there are two studies showing the sugars and how they are

absorbed and distributed through digestion!

Go back to Glycoscience .org and click and then click on

Glyconutritionals and then click on " Introduction to Glyconutritionals " and

then click on Absorption, and Distribution of the glyconutrients showing

that these sugars were radioactively labeled and followed in the human blood

stream. They are not converted to energy. They go through the blood portal

in digestion, are assembled on the cell surface, not randomly... but in

precise order. The Glucose stays predominantly Glucose as well.

I also suggest you read " Introduction to Glyconutritionals "

thoughtfully on the site which includes information from Harper's

Biochemistry Chapter 56, 1996, the most popular Medical Textbook in North

America, showing that the Glucose theory has been proven wrong since the

year 1996, and that we only get 2 of these sugars in our diet and that we

are, indeed... deficient. The biochemist who wrote that chapter now speaks

on Mannatech's behalf.

Also, if you truly would take the time to go back to

Glycoscience.org, you would find that over seventeen hundred articles lead

back to Medline.com which show glyconutritional studies. One of them being

L-Fucose (one of the eight sugars) showing that it blocked breast cancer

100% back in the 1970's but they couldn't patent an apple... So, that

particular pharmaceutical company abandoned the study, the funding, and the

potential to save countless lives. They simply didn't have cost effective

technology to do so.

Glyconutrients have lead to reversals of over 44 gene mediated

diseases so far and that's world wide. Drug companies wouldn't be spending

billions to try and synthesize these sugars and capitalize on this modern

day dietary deficiency, if they didn't believe there was big money in it.
