Hi all,

My sister and her kids have a wonderful flock of chickens, a few of

whom are getting sick with a mysterious illness which gives them

diarrhea and kills some of them. I'm wondering about treating them with

MMS and if anyone knows what the dose would be for a chicken? MMS sounds

like something that could help here, and my little niece and nephew sure

would be happy if their chicken friends came back to health! thanks, Suzy

Hi Suzy,

I don't know about using MMS...others here probably know more.

I read that one reason that Avian Flu is more frequent in China is

because the soil is deficient in selenium. Perhaps supplementing with

selenium would help?

I remember that when my dad had sheep on the land, he found out that our

soil was selenium deficient and used to give the sheep selenium salt

licks. I'll look into it! Suzy

if I remenber correctly the copper sulfate was for egg laying chichen , they are quite vulnerable to desease in they overcrowded house.

Greetings AllI believe in whole things.I would give the chickens ACV Apple Cider Vinegar...Braggs with he Mother.It has a good rounded amount of things in it.In the old days Vinegar was used for many many things and kept people healthy.I have a PDF by the Braggs folks on ACV if anyone wants it. MMS shared among a few chickens be an adequate dose? Don't want to

overdo it and hurt them further, but do want to kill off whatever

I'd try adding the MMS directly to their water. The MMS can activate in plain water, it just takes longer, but it also isn't used up so fast. Jim H said that if activated in water, in 24 hours it was activated as much as when we add acids and wait our 3 minutes. So it would work as a time release. Also, he had some good effects with some of his malaria groups without activation with acids, just taking the stuff with water.

This makes sense to be as the original stabilized oxygen products were effective

for some

people and they are just sodium chlorite in water.

I'm sorry I don't know how much to give them but my guess is that it

depends on the amount of water and the weight of the birds. My

belief is given the right dose it would work like a charm and no

antibiotics would be needed. I did give the MMS to my dog and I did

see improvement. She had a lot of energy after about four or five

days of MMS. I gave her nine drops (she weighs 80 lbs)activated with

lime juice and disguised in chicken broth. She drank it up like the

WH staff drinks Kool Aid, LOL.

You might try and contact the author of the article as I think she

works for the government and may be able to give you an appropriate

amount.
