Nicala came home (the final time) after three months and came home after 5 months in the hospital. Both had heart monitors and had a NG for 6 months. Aside from 4 out of the 5 people in our household being on antibiotics right now we are doing pretty well. I hope you enjoy this list as much as I have been. , wife to and mom to Nicala & ,ds (2.75 years) and (12 months)

Guest guest
Thanks Sara! Glad to be here. The twins will be teens (arghhhh) on December 2. Dont know if I'm up to having 3 teens in the house but....... I am getting to be quite the expert of boys w/DS & hopping hormones so, any questions, ask away!!!! Despite the life threatening illnesses, accidents, and other harrowing experiences, I do believe that puberty has been the most challenging part of Rudy's life!! Once again, thanks for the contacts. I'm Gail, and have 7 month old twins and Tara, also, Bobby-5, and Jillian-3. Tara was born with Ds. We didn't know during the pregnancy, so it came as quite a earth shatering shock at the birth. They were both full term! We have spent the last 7 months learning about Ds, and adjusting to this new world! Looking forward to hearing your experiences with your older twins!
