Judd Mobilizes African Churches to Address HIV/AIDS

YouthAIDS Global Ambassador Judd called on religious leaders

from 13 African countries to challenge cultural and religious practices

that render young women vulnerable to HIV infection. Ms. Judd, on a

three-week tour of Population Services International (PSI) Africa

programs, spoke to an HIV/AIDS prevention seminar of the All Africa

Conference of Churches in Nairobi, Kenya encouraging leaders to design

an AIDS prevention strategy for their churches. The seminar was

supported by PSI and funded by the U.S. Agency for International
