WORLD AIDS DAY MARATHON in Kenya...you're invited…

Imagine running a marathon in Kenya and raising money for AIDS projects at

the same time. The 2004 WORLD AIDS MARATHON will be held in Kenya on November

27, 2004. I’d like to invite you, a member of your company, classmate, friend

or

relative to run with me. And lets just see, who has the faster runner:

Harvard or Yale, General Motors or Toyota, NBC or CBS?

I’m Brodsky, an HIV-positive guy who happens to also have brain

cancer. My doctors never thought I’d run again. I’d like to invite a few of

them

along to run with me, except it’s unlikely that they could keep up with me.

It’

s taken me two years to see my dream come true for having a marathon in

Africa. Some of you may remember my wife, Jodi. We were on Stern’s

radio

show two years ago when I practically got laughed off the air for talking about

a

marathon in Africa.

The money raised from the marathon will benefit orphans, people living with

AIDS, research and access to treatment. Please consider joining me in Kenya. I

hope you realize I was kidding about, ‘who has the fastest runner.’ You can

even walk the marathon, but in so doing please realize that each step, each and

every step, you take is a step forward towards conquering AIDS. For more
