One of every two new HIV infections today occurs in someone under the age of 25.

On World AIDS Day - Monday, December, 1st - UNICEF, in partnership with the

Kaiser Family Foundation, Nickelodeon and the teen network, The N, will screen

excerpts from two new specials on youth and HIV/AIDS, Nick News: The Courage to

Live: Kids, South Africa and AIDS, and A Walk In Your Shoes: Living With

HIV/AIDS, before an audience of 200 young people from the New York area:

, UN Secretary-General's Special Envoy for HIV/AIDS in Africa will

moderate a post-show discussion with a panel of HIV-positive young people from

Africa and the U.S. He will be joined by Carol Bellamy, Executive Director,

UNICEF, and Ellerbee, the award-winning television producer, best selling

author and host of Nick News, who will discuss her experiences filming in South

Africa.

Nick News: The Courage to Live: Kids, South Africa and AIDS will debut at 9:00

p.m. ET/PT on Nickelodeon and A Walk In Your Shoes - Living With HIV/AIDS will

debut at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT on The N.

nighttime network for tweens and teens, are properties of Viacom, Inc. In

January 2003, Viacom and the Kaiser Family Foundation launched KNOW HIV/AIDS, a
