Guest guest
Like Chifu I would also like to offer the greetings of the season and thank the group members for a stimulating time of discussion, sharing and sometimes healthy debate from which we all emerge as having just a slightly larger dimension to our thoughts and understandings. I hope that everyone can get a bit of a break at this time and recharge their energies, travel safely and enjoy the fellowship of family and friends. I trust that 2004 will be a year that will see some consolidation of the efforts absorbing the energies of most of the writers and readers of this list and that we can get some co-ordinated action plans in place to feed the hungry and provide treatment for the infected and sexual health and safety messages to those that are uninfected so that they stay that way. I look forward to returning to East Africa at the earliest possible time and in the meantime I expect to share and energise those who care so much for those whose share of power makes them more vulnerable than others as we seek to support the infected and affected families but also to ensure that basic human rights and the dignity that is the right of every citizen is respected in the corridors of power.
