I am going to call the Kenyan ambassador to the US who lives in DC

who perhaps might the call ambassador in your country directly. Here

Hi Chifu,

If it doesn't work please let me know and I will go ahead to prepare a

letter of invitation for Mr. Geoff Heaviside to facilitate the processing of

his visa.

Geoff, sometimes it takes a while before a visa is issued and may be you

need to be a little patient before the process is completed. Patience, as we

all know, is a virtue. If we are too patient, the virtue is of course lost.

The first time I visited Australia I got my visa just a day before the day

of departure. Same thing happened when I went to Japan and yet I had

provided all the required documents well in advance. To me this is not

strange and neither is it a scandal.

I'm willing to provide a letter of invitation, addressed to you but I can

fax it to the Kenya High Commission as per your request, if this can help.
