My son Adam graduated from his typical private school kindergarten. He had

been there for 3 years and has lots of friends. It was a very terful

ceremony.

Now we move on to 1st grade. Were we live I am not comfortable with the

public schools. It would also always be a fight to get services. I would

love to hear from people who have there kids in private schools for kids with

disabilities.

Adam has been accepted to 2 schools. One is a school for kids who are al

developmentally delayed. There degrees vary. It is an excellent school with

years of a great reputation and the other is a school for children with

mainly learned issues and are also socially delayed.

Thanks.

HI Debra :)

So good to hear from you :) Congrats on Adam on finishing Kindy :) I know we

live nearby but have different districts so I know what you are going through

uggggg Im helping a Mom now fight the city district. My only advice would be

to look for the school with the best language offered by the kids and good

behavior role models. A school with LD labels would be great if your looking

for a school aimed for kids with special needs.

Kathy mom to Sara 9................we need to schedule a picnic or something

for the kids this summer Heehee
