Guest guest
You know, Kathy, come to think of it, Austin got in trouble for something minor last year at school, and his sped teacher put him on a chair BEHIND the story group, facing their backs, he could still see the story, the other kids couldn't see him. Austin thought that they had put him on a stage, and he put on a great show. So much for the concept of time out for him. All of the kids turned around to watch him, and the teachers finally gave up and laughed. Later, they told me, and said that they knew laughing and giving in to him was wrong, but he is " So comical and cute " . Well, I have that same problem at home. It was the only time he got in trouble last year, and his teacher thought so much of him, that when she gave birth last summer, she named her son Austin, in honor of my son. I thought that was touching. I know he was in good hands with her. We still see her, and she goes on field trips with him in this class. She doesn't have to, but she truly enjoys his company. See, I know there are some good teachers out there, just few and far between! Beth, mommy to austin ds and dakota,
