Guest guest
Hi Well I'm up (6am my time) on this Good Friday Sara decided it wasn't a day to sleep in, didn't matter to her that there is no school, daddy doesn't have to work or the fact we have a busy day ahead of us lol My Computer is sitting here next to my big bedroom window and I just noticed everything is soooooo green geeeesh when did this happen My sis is in town from PA and she too cant believe how green everything is here.......all of these April showers huh?? lol Well, Im in a brain fog on what to do about Miss Sara's verbal comments to me and her teachers.......AKA SASS She will even yell back at me when I put her in time out. All year we have dealt with one or another type of behavior and we pretty much figured it out and found a good incentive to get her under control but her teachers and myself are at a loss on what to do now. Im really needing some more incentive ideas, something that will work Heehee The behavior starts (SASS) when Sara doesn't want to do something, or she gets told no to something or if she gets a mini lecture on why she cant do something. Boy it was a lot easier when she would just plop to the floor when she didn't want to do something lolol verbal sass comes so quickly that I don't think she is even thinking first before she says something. Now she's not all bad, she is spontaneously complimenting everyone with " you are so beautiful and smart " and not expecting anything back in return I wonder if I made a word chart...like a behavior chart for happy faces and then a reward would be given if she said so many good words and NOT sass. Oh well any ideas on how to deal with this will help........I feel like Im dealing with a rebellious teenager right now and she's only 9.....I don't want to deal with this for years like I did with my oldest daughter finally grew out of it but boy it tooooooooook forever (forever for her to like me too lol) Kathy mom to Sara 9..............who is checking out prices of duct tape for this weekend
