Guest guest
Joy - I know how you feel........we got a ton of snow up here in Rochester the past couple of weeks or so...... BUT the last few day's it's been SUNNY, and there's a few earlybirds out there chirping that are reminding me that SPRING is on it's way. I can't wait!! We have two horses - all I do all winter is feed them and shovel the byproduct of that feed - we are all looking forward to doing some riding really soon! Spring will be here before you know it....and then summer......yipee!

Guest guest
We've had 2 days not near 70, it has rained heavily tonight and we're supposed to have snow tomorrow night. Whoop-de-doo. Jessie
Guest guest
Greetings to you from Hawaii:))) Sorry to rub it in but I don't miss that junk too much. After living in Alaska and then Missouri (where it either snowed or rained), I am glad to sit here in my shorts with the air conditioner running just like I did in January and February. Yesterday we had a nice spring shower.....kinda wierd tho with all the snow still around.....spring may arrive soon. hehe I do like winter,,,,,,it just doesn't need to stay around so long. this years started so early, we went from fall like weather to WINTER big time, ask Kathy and those a few states south of me. If it was cold down there in the beggining of Nov. you know what it was like up here in MN. :-) School friends of mine were in HI just before Christmas, she said they were hiking into the volcano. I'm sure they had a great time. Joy
Guest guest
Joy, at least you had fall. We went from summer to winter with nothing between. I'm afraid the same thing will happen to spring. It was 70 yesterday and supposed to snow tonight. I finally saw my first robins today, I know they've been around but I haven't happened to see any. I think it was a coatless trick or treat night and a week or two later highs around zero. And it seems they've been stuck around there all winter, a heat wave was hitting 10. lol It seems os long that i really don't remember it being warm, altho I do remember the awful heat in AZ in the summer. LOL I do know we went for record number of days without hitting 32. not sure but the number of days under 20 was probalby a record to but they probably don't look at that.
