Been along time. His mom ended up having to place her in a hospice/nursing home facility, and her brothers and husbands assistance. It had become so hard for her to physically care for her in those last couple of weeks because she hated the fact that she was causing her pain. :-( It's to bad that In home care wasn't very well established at that time, it could have saved her having to work through the guilt of not keeping her mother til the end. Very impressive they took their case to the Supreme Court. Cheryl in VA

Guest guest
That is a shame, Joy. I had lots of in-home help with my mother from Hospice. Can't say enough good things about those folks! granny --- " Beautiful that war and all its deeds of carnage must in time be utterly lost. Guest guest
I'm sure there are good nursing homes out there somewhere. Just never ran across one myself. The newspapers are filled with abuse stories in those places. And the ones I visit usually smell so bad! granny --- " Beautiful that war and all its deeds of carnage must in time be utterly lost.
