Guest guest
Airline, We had the same problem when took over from egroups. We had a similar problem when bloodpressureline.com changed, and each time we adapted. It's a rapidly changing world, but we can't guard against every eventuality, and I wouldn't distribute or ask people to distribute personal info. They probably have it already, but why confirm it? Download all your members email addresses and you can form a new group in google, eg. But the real question is WHY would MSN do such a thing? They need groups to compete with google. That's the business they're IN. Guest guest
I am so sorry I missed this message from earlier to day. It is NOT too late to continue to make those calls to your legislators and the leaders...nothing as yet, has been decided. Ellen Illinois Legislative ACTION ALERT for my fellow families of children and adults with developmental disabilities and/or mental illness… While legislators in Springfield continue to work on a temporary solution to the budget fiasco, and as they attempt to restore the unconscionable reductions to human services, our kids, those with developmental disabilities, and/or mental illness, need a long-term new revenue solution, such as House Bill 174. Yesterday afternoon, legislators approved a Bill that would allow borrowing, approximately $2.3 billion, to restore the cuts to human services at about 70% of the current funding, assuming the Governor and Senate agree. What does that mean? It means that some grants or programs could be funded at a 100% level, while others could be funded at a 50% level. It appears that some legislators think this borrowing is going to restore grants and Medicaid programs to the 100% level. It will not. My request… this morning before the legislators return to their last scheduled session for the summer, leaving the most vulnerable at risk, please: 1. Call your House and Senate Members in their Springfield offices. 2. Tell them you want them to restore 100% of the cuts to human services. We rank last among the states already, restoring the cuts to 100%, will still leave us last, but with 30% to 50% cuts… just tell them to do the right thing, for the grace of G-d it could be their child, their grandchild… 3. Tell them, like they did yesterday afternoon, not to support any borrowing unless they are assured that the borrowing will restore all cuts to human services. 4. Tell he House members to support House Bill 174, which will provide long-term funding relief for education and human services, as the State Senate has already passed. Tell them to look to the Senate for they already did the right thing.
