Well, that other shoe just dropped

At 4:30 today I received a call from Luke's service agency CEO telling me that

because the " wonderful " state of Illinois owes them $2,000,000 and who know

when, or if, they'll ever pay, that all services for Luke will end on July 20th.

The only services continuing for their clients are those with 24-hour services;

i.e., those living in CILAs. (BTW, I should mention that all these people live

in 2-4 person CILAs and that the agency is taking steps to " consolidate " people;

i.e., have BIGGER CILAs).

So .... as of July 20th (unless some bone is tossed to us) Luke will be home

with us 24/7/365.

Anyone want to join me at either sit ins at senator and rep offices or in moving

to another state? Anyone want to buy our house?
