Guest guest Posted July 2, 2009 Report Share Posted July 2, 2009 Contact your local unemployment office or visit the website for registeration for the Summer Youth Employment program according to the Work Re-Investment Program that was voted aimed to promote economic and social of kids. The program give mentorship, activity, and PAY - YES! Pay for the employer to give the youth a chance to work. Example: Employer can have a free agent on their payroll and the program will pay for the payroll without string attach. Pay is $8-$10, time is limited for those who is under 17 and must have work permit. 40 Hours MAX per week! Hours is limited for Children and Teens! Only 14-24 Years Old may join, program END at Sept 10's for non-High School. Program END at Augest for children and teens. I was able to signed up and was chosen to participate in a PAID program. I already have a employer line up that will agree to have me as a free agent while I can earned money for working. PLUS, they will give me a FREE bus pass for my county region public bus transportation.
