Saw it last night and it was excellent!! As for Louise's mom, she refuses to take the anti depressant, so that plan is off. Louise realizes that she' was starting to sink into depression, herself from all this stuff with her mom; so she is on a " Take care of Louise " direction right now!!!! Thanks for asking, Sue. How does this affect the plan for her to go into an assisted living facility? > Louise realizes that she' was starting to sink into depression, > herself from all this stuff with her mom; so she is on a " Take care > of Louise " direction right now!!!! Good for her! Is there anyone else that can help with mom right now - a sibling, neighbor, or even a home health aide? Sue in NJ
Guest guest
I am going to take a bit of a break from all this IL crap today but first I want to get this idea out before my over stressed brain forgets it. I would be happy to promote the PAC if we pull it off, to siblings and I think Tara and I can get some stuff on facebook that would help. I would like to reach beyond this group and I think we will have to if we want to be successful. One thing that frustrates me is how many advocacy groups there are that don't work together. We have common purposes and yet we are in competition. Mental illness always seems to come dead last. Also love the sit in with our family member. My one brother is not stable enough to do that I don't think but the other two could. Happy 4th all and I hope you can take a little break. Guest guest
Hi Nora: I am getting a break while Noah is away at overnight camp...hubby and I are on a road trip headed to Mackinaw...we are in Ann Arbor right now...we do road food...so...happy to be here...great food, thus far... Anyway...there is a larger organization that is provider based talking about a PAC...it would be great if we could join forces, providers, families, individuals with disabilities, DD,MI...we need large numbers and alot of $$$...the issues are all interrelated... But, let's take a break...I have some 'feelers' out... More as I know more... Ellen Ellen Garber Bronfeld egskb@... 847/212-3036 (cell) ________________________________ From: " Yoda84@... Guest guest
I agree wbout the groups working together. I guess I am looking for one umbrella group. We have tried to get our center of independet living to our dupage workgroup, but i think they are more interested in prople with phycial dis than deve dis. very frustrating. cindi
