Guest guest
we all make mistakes From: " revaddict " revaddict@... Date: Thu May 25, 2006 5:52am(PDT) Subject: I'm never eating again... Good morning, ladies, Boy, do I feel awful. Last night I went to a friend's house to work on a vehicle. They invited us over for a cookout. Not exactly on the eating plan, I know, but it was nice of them to invite us so we went. Well, when suppertime came, I lost all control. I ate 3 hamburgers, 2 brats, 1 hot dog and 1 chicken leg. Potato chips and nachos on the side. A cookie for dessert. Ugh, just thinking about it makes me sick. And before the night was over I washed it all down with a beer. I went to bed with a full stomach and woke up in the middle of the night with indigestion and diarrea. (And, please, no wisecracks about too much information here. If you ladies can talk about breastfeeding and monthly cycles, I can mention a case of diarrea.) :-) I lost about 2 hours of sleep and woke up this morning to try to work out. I lasted about 5 minutes and realized I wasn't going to make it so I went back to bed for a little while. I still have a somewhat upset stomach and no appetite, but I could really use a cup of coffee! I'm afraid to drink it though because caffeine dehydrates you and that's not good with diarrea. Well, I think I've just overeaten for the last time. I have no desire to do that again!
Guest guest
I feel very strongly about this as well but also want to include people with mental illness. There is after all much dual diagnosis. Only one of my three brothers with disabilities has autism. When we were forming Supporting IL Brothers and Sisters we stressed that we would include all sibs of sibs with any type of a disability. My youngest brother in addition to his intellectual disability has schizo-affective disorder. Mental illness can be so challenging and I feel like people with mental illness are at the absolute bottom of the barrel. We talk a lot on this list about community services being the better choice over institutions. In the mental illness community the institutions are jails. 25% of the prison population are people with mental illness and some experts think it is as high as 50%. When Noah was very young I made a very deliberate decision to do just that. **************A Good Credit Score is 700 or Above. See yours in just 2 easy steps!
