Congratulations, , on your accomplishment! Beth P.

Beps9601@... wrote:so, i got on the scale today and it read 127.5. for the

first time in a while, i was really thrilled. (i use to be pissed that it was

still in the high 120's, but that's changed now.)

my starting weight was 126. then i gained a bunch of muscle (lost a little bit

of fat) and the highest i weighed in at was 133. (i sort of freaked out about

that one because i hadn't been over 130 for a while). after that i didn't get on

my scale until today...that was about 6 weeks ago. since i've moved to boston

i've had to ride my bike EVERYWHERE and have some really rigerous movement

classes. while i haven't been able to follow the BFL workout schedule exactly to

the book, i think for the last few weeks i've been eating cleaner than i ever

have before. my lifestyle is now totally tuned into the whole protein/carb

thing. like renee has said on her site, i've gotten this " rain man " type quality

of number crunching. i can tell if a meal has been unbalanced and i've found it

quite easy to fix with some extra chicken or a cheese stick on the side.

i'm still tracking my intake (journaling) with Diet Power, and i find that at

the end of the day when i check my pie graph for the last few weeks it's been

(almost exactly) 38% protein, 39% carbs, 23% fat. sometimes slightly more

protein, sometimes not. but it's pretty consistant. my body " gets it " , you know?

i want to lose a few more inches which'll probably translate to ending up in the

low 120's...which i'd be MORE than thrilled with.

i'm going to take some pictures tomorrow to compare to the begining...although i

can never see changes in pictures and it sort of makes me slide back to being

unhappy about (what in real life looks like) real progress.

i'm known as " the buff one " in my class...which is pretty cool...and things that

people are huffing and puffing to get through i'm hardly breaking a sweat. so

that's a goal i reached that i didn't even know was so important to me. i'm in

the best shape of my life.

hope everyone's doing well.

Way to go! The clean eating has paid off for you. Even if you don't

follow the BFL exercises to the " T " it is still easy to succeed simply

by clean eating. Congratulations, and keep it up!

This may seem like a silly question. I did attend and spoke at the rally in St.

Clair County but my question is how will we know what the results are from the

General Assembly? If someone has a moment will you explain the rest of the

process to me? Thank you!!
