Hi GOOD NEWS

The Mt Prospect Police Dept is hosting a disability fair March 21st (see below)

IT IS DIRECTED  TO ALL NW SUBURBAN RESIDENTS

They are looking for organizations that are willing to participate in a

community outreach and information initiative. 

IF YOU HAVE HAVE SUGGESTIONS for contacts, PLEASE forward to

IN THE MEANTIME, FLYERS WILL BE SENT TO MT PROSPECT SCHOOLS- PRINCIPALS AND

SOCIAL WORKERS SOMETIME NEXT WEEK

(I am sorry I didn't ask if they will send to surrounding communities)

PLEASE INSURE THEY ARE SENT HOME TO FAMILIES AND OR PUT IN SCHOOL NEWSLETTERS.

ALSO FEEL FREE TO FWD / POST INFO IN THIS EMAIL ASAP AS THE EVENT IS  A MONTH

AWAY.

The Disability Information Fair will be held in the First Floor Community Room

of the Mount Prospect Village Hall, located at 50 S. Emerson Street , Mount

Prospect , Illinois , 60056 on Saturday, March 21st, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00

p.m.  Event admission for fair participants is free.  Admission to the fair for

members of the public is also free.  Ample free parking for 380 cars is located

in the Municipal Parking Garage adjacent to the Mount Prospect Village Hall.  A

light breakfast and lunch will be provided free of charge to fair participants.

The Mount Prospect Police Department will host a Disability Fair from 10 a.m. to

1 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, in the Community Room of the Village

Hall, 50 South Emerson Street . The fair will bring together a wide variety of

social, health and public

safety service providers as well as local school district representatives to

facilitate access to information

and resources. The fair is geared toward northwest suburban residents living

with disabilities

and their parents, guardians or caretakers.

The event will include a special focus on Autism Spectrum of Disorders. For more

information,

contact the Mount Prospect Police Department Crime Prevention Unit at 870-5650.
