An Acess Issue

Hello all!

I had something happen to me recently that I wanted to share. We are

receiving services throught the Home Based Program and have been turning time

sheets into Acess.

A few weeks ago I had to terminate one of my PSWs, who had only worked for

us since January on a parttime basis, because she was always calling off,

coming late, leaving early, etc. This PSW was not happy with me so she filed

for

Unemployment. I didn't know anything about this until luckily someone with

the Illinois Dept. of Employment Security called and left an message on my

answering machine. She stated that she wanted to make sure that we did not

want to contest this person receiving unemployment benefits. I called the

women

with IL Dept of Employ who told me that a letter has been sent out about all

of this. I didn't receive it because apparently it had been sent to Acess's

PA.

I e-mailed Acess asking why I was never notified that this letter had been

sent to them, and , in the Springfield office, said that he would forward

my e-mail to Acess' PA office. I never heard anything so I e-mailed

again. Unfortunately I still haven't heard anything.

Supposedly the person at the IL Dept. of Employment was going to change

their system so that future letters would be sent to me. This is just one more

thing that has not been resolved and I just wanted to make others aware of

this issue.

Thanks!
