Hi :

Hope you are feeling better.

It is interesting that people with disabilities have not filed many

complaints and therefore do not appear to have ADA related issues.

Most of us with young adults could cite numerous occasions when we felt

that there was a lack of accomodation for our children in the community

and that quite possibly the ADA was being violated.

My son has recently become very loud, making various noises and sounds

that I think pose a real barrier to community. Obviously I will be

avoiding movies or stage performances with him for a while out of

common courtesy to those who have paid money to be entertained, but I

certainly want him out in the community, regardless of the noises. I

am worried though that store owners, restaurant owners and other

business proprietors may object if my son gets loud. Does the ADA

provide any protections for behaviors that are not necessarily a danger

to others but is certainly annoying?

Thanks.

Ellen
