Profile of new subscriber to the eFORUM

Dear forum members,

I have just retired from the World Bank where I was

the Director for health, nutrition and population

for the last 4 years for the South Asia Region. For

the ten years before that, I had worked on health in

India as a Divison Chief at the World Bank. I was

the manager overseeing the beginning of the World

Bank's work on HIV in India, and the first and the

second project HIV projects. I also oversaw the

development of HIV work in other countries in the

South Asia region. I am now on the faculty of the

School of Public Health and Health Services at

Washington University.
