My ped did not mention about the waiver, in fact she said that we must get

the required vaxes. Of course I told her that we are not getting them at

this time. Many parents have asked me how I plan to get my child into

school without them so I am assuming that it is not a likely thing that

doctors will talk about the exemptions that are allowed.

wow sheri....... did I read that Wisconsin law correctly??? When someone

discusses Immunization requirements THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO TELL THE PARENT

THEY CAN GET A WAIVER???? Not that I think that happens, but still

.......... how awesome.

WELCOME Janet. This is a very informative (if not overhwelming) place....

Hope you and yoru daughter find all of the information you need. Sheri and

Very much more risky if family members with autoimmune diseasses, vaccine

damage, asthma, diabetes, autism etc - that is what we are finding. I'd be

very careful. CP, when I was first a nurse in the early 70's, was

something you were born with. now I KNOW its, many times, vaccine damage.

A lot are afraid of pertussis, but the reality is much different,

especially if you have a homeopath. Many on the list can share their

stories. Some mroe scared than others.

A homeopath can help you thru pertussis or anything without much difficulty.

Elaine,

Hello welcome this is a wonderful group to be a part of lots of traffic and

smart parenting I love it.

I have the same fears as you I want to do my boy right. And others those around

me right, too. So my advice to you is knowledge is power and you will find that

these fears will subside as you learn more about diseases and homepathic

remedies and treatments. Plus this group is a great place to find like minds and

even support in your decisions. Best of health to you and yours .

Hello Jodi,

I'm in west central Wisconsin - west of Eau Claure. I've never heard of

this exemption before, should make things a whole lot easier. Wish I had know

this when my kids were young.

Thanks,

Janet

Hi Janet,

I live in Wisconsin too. Where in WI are you located?

I was going to tell you about the philosophical exemption allowed in this

state but Sherri already beat me to it. We are fortunate to live in one of

the few states that allow this exemption.

Hello everyone, my name is Janet. My husband, children and I own and

operate an organic dairy farm here in Wisconsin. We milk about 75

holsteins twice a day. I also run my own business (Foxfire Gifts) from

home. I make homemade soaps, lotions, and many other items. My life is

busy, which leaves very little time for email, but I hope to be as active

as possible here.

My daughter (oldest child of 3) is expecting her second child in June, and

she's quite concerned about vaccinations. Though we haven't researched all

that much yet, we both want to learn all we can about the cons of

vaccinations.....which is why I'm here. Her first daughter (Jordin-age 3)

has had her vaccinations up until now, and will not be receiving any more

in the future.

We have a lot of questions too - which I hope I can post here from time to

time. My first one is " how does one enroll a child in school without a

record of required vaccinations " ?

I'm looking forward to learning and participating here.

All you in Wisconsin who are lucky enough to have a philosophical exemption,

owe that to the fact that Marge Grant worked tirelessly on this issue and

brought her wheel-chair bound grown son to the legislature, for them to see

the results of his DPT vaccine damage.

Welcome to the group Charity! My name is Eleanora and I have 126

pounds to go. I hope you enjoy being part of the group. It is a

wonderful support system when we work together. I am glad you have

decided to join us!When I am making the effort I use the

Foodmover programme which works well when I stick to

it...hmmmm. I am restarting with the blast off part of the programme

as my eating has gotten out of control with me trying to quit smoking

and adjust to my new home.

I have a 29 year old daughter, a 7 year old canine companion named

Texanda's Main Event ( " Tess " to all her friends here), a curmudgeony

old male cat named Yod, and numerous fish. I am looking forward to

getting to know you better!

Hi Anne,

Just want to say WELCOME, I know i am late......

Ling

Introduction

Hi, I am Anne (32) married to Terry (28). We are trying to conceive our 1st child. We have been married since May 12, 2001. We are hoping to be pregnant by the time our 1st wedding anniversary comes around. It would also be a great Mother's Day present for both of our Gramma-Wanna-Be's. I am on cycle day 9, I just finished my 1st round of Clomid on day 7, and am to start taking estrogen & guaifenesin day 10 to ovulation. I am not sure how much I really like this clomid drug since it is a steroid, and steroids do such lovely things to me. I am considered extremely high risk for conception and pregnancy because of my multiple anaphylactic (life threatening) allergies. I know the risks, I know what I am getting myself into, and no matter what, I will do anything I have to, to become a Mom!! Terry & I have been going to a Reproductive Medicine clinic since December 2001. The RM doctor finally consented to treat me about 10 days ago. I had to first provide the RM clinic with a letter from a perinatologist stating he would take me on as a patient for a high risk pregnancy. The moment the RM clinic had that letter in their hand, their whole attitude towards us changed... all I could think was "It's about time!!" Due to the severity of my allergies, I am on SS Disability. Over the years my allergies are only getting worse, or increasing in number. The doctors don't know what to do, but do think that my allergies could get better with pregnancy... if that is the case, I want to be barefoot & pregnant until my allergies are gone... if only things were that easy. I did read through the rules for this list, and saw that advertising for another group shouldn't be done. But if there is anyone out there that is also trying to conceive with allergies or another chronic illness I would love to have you on a list I just started. The reason I mention this is that I don't want to drive everyone crazy always taking about trying to get pregnant. Although those are the 2 biggest things I talk about because they are the 2 biggest things in my life... allergies & wanting to be a Mom. I hope that I didn't break the rules to badly... if I did, I am sorry! Love Always, Anne

I've already addressed some of the stuff in the first part of your email.

A good book to start with is the VACCINE GUIDE by Randall Neustaedter (a

little too liberal about tetanus vax though)

this and others on my website

http://www.nccn.net/~wwithin/bookstor.htm#vaccines

YOu don't tell your family. Its your life and your child.

>My mom is a nurse too so she's pretty adamant.

Tell her to talk to me - I'm a former peds nurse

Read and read and then you tell them you'll discuss when they've read as

much as you.

Its challenging but you have 7+ months to get strong! Read all you can,

ask questions, search the message archives.

Visit the websites you've been referred to! You have your work cut out for

Kasi, You can check out my website www.theforgotten.com/vaccines and you

might as well quit arguing with your family. I did the same thing with my

family and friends and now I have very few friends and half my family doesn't

speak to me! Just don't say anything! They are not ready. You will come

across people that are very open to not vaccinating (I wish I had been on

this list before I got pregnant!) that will encourage you. Just remember once

you inject that toxic garbage into your precious newborn you can't get it

out.

Kind regards,

I kinda know whatcha mean, I was just talking to my sistera bout having not

vaccinated and her opinion of me drops a bunch of notches. She's of the same

attitude, and I have a hard time explaining, so I changed the subject. She's

positive she's doing the right thing, but she's the only one in my family

who has actually argued with me over it. Nobody else cares really ;)

Welcome Kasi,

you will certainly learn a lot here. i would firstly go to Sheri's site. I

don't have the link but there is some interesting reading, Dispelling

Vaccination Myths by Alan . I know yu can find it by using the google

search engine. This answers every objection anyone may have in clear and

concise terms. also 'The Sanctity of Human Blood' by Tim O'Shea makes good

reading....

All the best

Yeah, I haven't told my mom we're not vaccinating our kids any more than

they have been already. My sister's married to an MD and embraces

conventional medicine. At this point I would have to create an opportunity

to tell her. It's just not worth it. I'm sure it'll come up sooner or later.

I never put it together until later that my son began getting ear infections

after his vaccinations. I thank God nothing else has happened to him.

Thinking of how we had him vaccinated fills me with a dreadful apprehension

of what he may contract as these crazy chemicals interact with his body in

the future. You think you're doing the best for your kids and whammo.

Ignorance is not bliss.

Hello Kasi,

Congrats on expecting:) And on finding this list its a great group very

informative. FYI unless family and friends do research on the topic of Vaccines

(like your beginning to do). They will most likely oppose you. And I found out

that I dont need to tell anyone about my EDUCATED choice. Because, they not only

don't understand. But, couldn't without doing the reading for themselves. I dont

invite the topic on myself at least not with the closed minded however if one

does wanna talk about it I ask them to read a few books on it get a more well

rounded view and then we could discuss it.

I also feel its inportant to get the word out there of the dangers of

inoculating the human race.

So I dont encourage arguing about a EDUCATED choice I have already made but am

always happy to share with curious ones............. Knowledge is power........

glad your here, good health to you and yours

Kasi <kasiharmon@...> wrote: Hi all!

I'm so excited to have found this list!

My name is Kasi , and my husband and I just

found out that we are expecting our first child in

January.

Vaccines are a big issue for me because of my dogs. I

have a rescue dog that has suffered many negative

effects from vaccines. I'm still dealing with them

although she's doing so much better now. My youngest

puppy is a vibrant 6 months old and has never been

vaccinated and never will be. So now we just need to

make decisions about vaccines for our child.

My naturopathic doctor told me that the World Health

Organization recommends not vaccinating children until

after age 2 so I know that I won't do anything until

then. It's also very easy in the state of Minnesota

where we live to get exemptions. So now I just need

to decide what to do after age 2.

I don't want to vaccinate, but I have a lot of

research to do now. I've already bought one book, but

I'm sure that I'll buy others. I'm also hoping that

this list will be a good resource for me while I learn

and make decisions.

The hardest part is dealing with family. I've already

had one huge fight with my brother over it. He's told

me that I'll kill my kid. I've told him that he'll

kill his. It's not pretty. How do you deal with

that? My mom is a nurse too so she's pretty adamant.

It's easy with my dogs to go my own way because no one

else is involved with my dog's care. But, kids are

another matter entirely.

Thanks,

Kasi

I hope this short intro will suffice...

Dave Olley living in Whitley Bay near Newcastle UK,

NHS trained - A & E, ICU/CCU.

20+ (Oh GOD!!) years offshore in UK, Denmark, Norway, Mexico.

Currently working on an FPSO in the North Sea.

After a quick flick through the membership list I recognise two names that

work for the same company as myself (Hi & ).

If you don't mind I'll probably lurk for a while until I've managed to read

the archives and find out what has been/is being discussed.

For a light-hearted view of an 'Oil Company's Approach to Psychological

Wellbeing in the North Sea' take a peek at:-

Cheers

Dave

Hi Dave,

Nice to see another North East lad ! By any chance are you the

Dave Olley that works or used to work for a company called Terramar ? Work

on the rescue/ recovery vessels myself and think I've heard your name ( in

good terms !! )

Anyhow, welcome to the list,

All the best,

Andy
