He was developing fine and a very happy baby, he never cried (we could go for a month without hearing him cry) he smiled all the time and then at some point he started to be a little slower in learning. He was almost 2 months behind on the chart that they compare to of when you start crawling, walking, talking etc. But we figured that he was a boy and boys are usually slower. Well he never really did crawl he would just roll across the floor to where he wanted to go and then he would pull himself up he started to take a few steps by himself around 14 months and then by 15 months he was walking good but every once in awhile he would fall down for no apparent reason. At his 18 month check up we told the doctor about how slow he was and he said well we don't start to worry about their progress until 24 months. So we let it go for about a month and then got AEA (Area Education Assistance) involved, they are a school based program to help slower and handicap children from birth until whenever. Finally we went back to the doctor and we told him that had re-gressed so much that he doesn't pick up food anymore, he doesn't say mamma or dadda or baa baa, he still sleeps a lot (2 to 3 hour nap in the AM and 2 to 3 hour nap in the afternoon and then is in bed for the nite at 7pm until 6 or 7am) plus his walking is getting worse - he is falling down more and more. So the doctor requested a MRI and it showed Cerebral Atrophy which is skrinkage of the brain so he directed us to a pediatric neurologist at a Children's Hospital so we went there and they did a whole bunch of tests and they all came back normal, plus he requested a EEG (it checks the eletrical impulses in the brain(I think)). That came back borderline abnormality and showed no sign of seizures. The neurologist wanted to do a spinal tap and I heard from a friend that her child was injured by one of the vaccines and and they wanted to do a spinal tap and she said that if a child has neurological damage and they tap in to his spinal column that can damage him permanetly. So we aren't gonna do that. So we were directed to a Pediatric Genetecists at the University of Iowa and they did all sorts of test and everything, again, came back normal so she didn't know were to go from there. Then finally we requested to be referred to a different doctor somewhere else such as Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minnesota or University of Chicago Children's Hopsitals and they referred us to Chicago and we went out there and they wanted to do a Muscle biopsy, a Nerve biopsy, and a Skin biopsy. So we did that last week and are waiting for the results to come back. I was told a couple months ago by my friend with the child that was injured by vaccines to check out this one Naturopathic Clinic in St. and so I did and she wanted me to send in a hair sample so they could test heavy metals in my sons system plus she also started my son on the Mumps vaccine that evidentally draws the mumps vaccine out of his system, we are just getting ready to start the Measles vaccine in a few days. We when we met with her last Monday she showed us the results of the hair test and thomas FLEW off the chart with so much Arsenic in his body. The range is suppose to be no higher than 0.08 but his is 0.55. he is just under the 68th percentile in Aluminum and Antimony(whatever Antimony is??) Aluminum is suppose to be less than 8 and he is 7.5 and the Antimony is suppose to be way lower than .066 and his is .061. His Titanium is suppose to be less than 1 and his is .82 and his Cadmium is suppose to be less than .15 and it is .078. He is low in Chromium he is suppose to fall between .26 and .5 and he is .18. and Germanium is suppose to be between .045 and .065 and his is .012. Sorry I went into detail about this but I just joined this list and wanted everyone to know what is going on with and see if anyone has any suggestions. I took to the doctor on Tuesday and had a blood test for Arsenic to confirm the hair test - I am waiting for results as I write. I am wondering how can he have gotten Arsenic in his body? Could he have gotten it from me when he was growing in me - should I be tested for this. Oh, also my son seems to have a very high tolerance for pain - it really takes a lot to make him cry plus as I said before that was a very happy baby, well he is very irritable now and whines a lot but not necessarily screams. He even cries when I put him in his high-chair to feed him. has had all his shots plus the Varicella (Chicken Pox)one and he isn't due for anymore until 4 years old. I hope somebody has some suggestions and ideas and maybe more routes to go on. I am trying to understand the 'measles vaccine' that is being given by the naturopath? Is this actually homeopathy or the actual vaccine? I would question why they are giving the actual vaccine if that is what they are doing. Do you still nurse him? Do you have mercury (they look like SILVER fillings in your teeth) dental fillings? If so, mercury from the fillings leak into the body and into the breastmilk. I can point you to additional help if you need it regarding silver fillings and mercury leaking into the body. I would consider a chiropractor for help. I don't know if it would help with the shrinking of his brain. Does this condition continue because if so, I would it imagine it must be incredibly painful. You may also want to contact with the Horwins. They lost a son due to a brain tumor. They have done an incredible amount of research and may have some info to consider. I would personally, absolutely not allow any food that is not organic. If he is not eating organic food then he is eating pesticides and some may contain the chemicals he is testing for in his hair. I would also use a water filter not just for drinking water but also for any water he uses, such as for bathing. There are water filters that are sold that can attach to the showerheads. Did he get the DPT or the DPaT? I am curious about the natural path giving the same vaccines to purge the others out? This is new and I would like to know more detail on this? I would have the hair test done myself to look at the variations in numbers to get a full understanding how off your son may be feeling. I don't know about children, because I do not even know for myself my chiro. Suggested it and I am willing to try she says all the cracking in my joints could be looked at as toxins building up in my joints, I am also hypermobile which most people are the opposite. Anyway enough rambling, I am going to go to a Chinese herbalist and an acupuncturist to get detoxed and balanced. I would try anything natural as you seem to be. She works with a group and is working to raise awareness of this issue. She attended the 7/18 mercury hearing. Canada has a class action lawsuit against their dental board for not disclosing the risks. And Sweden (or Switzerland can't remember which) has banned their use. It is a real problem because the silver fillings are classified as toxic waste by the EPA once it comes out of the mouth but guess where it ends up. A lot ends up in our water supply that gets emptied out from the dentist offices. Then, if someone dies and is cremated then the mercury is released into the air over crematoriums. Osteopaths are similar to chiropractors and are also familiar with cranial sacrial therapy. Hope it helps.
