Oh my...just a typical day in the life of a baby. Everything is normal and

wonderful and now she's gone. I absolutely can not imagine such a horrible

loss. I don't know how one copees with it...I can't imagine moving on, though

I know you have to. I'll keep her mommy in my prayers. I simply cannot even

imagine the pain...

that is very sad. i posted the info on my oct 99 moms board. i really

hope people begin to do their research, whether or not they choose to

vaccinate.

Sounds like a type of seizure to me - I'll ask Dr. Yazbak.

So sad to hear about the baby, - which board is this that you are

on? Is anyone talking more about it being vaccines?

Actually vaccines have been raised, an autopsy will be performed. The mom

is questioning vaccines but I'm sure the dr.s will deny any involvement.

of course they will deny. have mom get detailed autopsy report. fill out

VAERS. have her send to me and I'll forward to Ed Yazbak - if possible. I

know it might not be possible to ask for all that, but if you can.

well, i'm sharing my responses for forwarding nicole's message (with

her personal statement at the top in tact). i find the attitude

towards the messenger's with opinions interresting.

I know you mean well when you provide us all with information about

vaccines and how we need to do our research BUT....

I saw nowhere in all of those posts how anyone really related the

child's death to vaccines except for the comment at the beginning of

the note. I'm not sure if that was your interjection or that of

someone who sent it to you. I just feel that posting the information

like that is a scare tactic and has no place here. Providing the

facts is one thing, scaring people based on your beliefs is another.

Everyone has a right to their opinion and I respect yours fully. I

just want to make sure that people are given factual information and

left to make decisions on their own.

I truly appreciate your participation on this board and am grateful

to have you as a resource to go to for information as I have done in

the past and I would love to continue to do so.

not mean that it was related - she should have an autopsy done and a

toxic scan to see what happened. The systoms that were described are

normal systoms for a child with constipation and some newborns do hold

their breath (its really wierd and in a small number but it happens).

vaccine related deaths usually happen within a 48 hour period.

I'm not trying to be unsympatheitic...My heart is racing and I am

scared

too...but somehow I think the Doc is at fault and he knew something

more

than he was saying...The best thing would be to do the autopsy to see

what

happened.

The other thing that I have noticed is people are blaming vaccines

for SID

deaths now too...both of these don't have an answer or a cause...so I

am

wondering if people are getting frightened and blaming the most trendy

thing on the market.

I have a question.. and it's just a question.. Why do some doctor's

immunize

before 3 months???

My understanding is that a lot of problems with immunizations is that

they

are a lot of times given too early.

I have been diabetic for 15 years, and they think that I may have

gotten it

because of my immunizations as a baby. getting a certian one too

early (I

can't remember which one..)

I think that immunizations are wonderful! and it's great that they

have

them out there for these babies, but you are right they need to be

researched before making your decision.

My baby was born the day before hers. I'm just heartbroken for her.

It sounds like a seizure to me too -- infantile spasms? I've been reading

about the DPT connection. Apparantly, like SIDS, they're saying it's difficult

to determine a connection because babies get it at that age anyway. But,

there's definitely an increase in numbers of cases following DPT, and, if I

remember, they talk about in the week following the shot, not 24 hours.

Encourage her to contact the NVIC to figure out how to fill out the

paperwork. Also, encourage her to keep a sample of her hair so that it

can be tested to see if there are high mercury levels (ie. from

thimerosal). She is definately in my prayers. What hell for parents!

First there told the vaccines are so safe...blah, blah, blah and then

when something happens NO one knows you. The only compensation is that

their day of reckoning is coming. Between their screw ups and all the

congressional hearings someone in the FDA and CDC and pharmaceutical

company will get a conscience and leak information like a fast running

faucet. Then the truth will be told.....

Again, let her know her family is our prayers.
