Guest guest Posted December 29, 2011 Report Share Posted December 29, 2011 Grandaughter 10 yrs old Coeliac and ALWAYS gluten free June 2011 her TSH was 5.6 Antibodies 85 ..........Registrar contemplated giving Thyroxine but daughter declined as grandaughter had positively no hypothyroid symptoms Sept 2011 TSH 2.6 free T4 12.6 (12-20) Antibodies 102 ........consultant refused to give thyroxine despite her memory and concentration at scholl nosediving Dec 2011 TSH 3.5 Antibodies 85 Free T4 15.1 (12-20) Free T3 5.3 child still has memory and concentration problems and swings several times a day from happy and active to suddenly exhausted and curled up in bed asleep Consultant now claims phychiatric consult nessecary claiming childhood depression as you can imagine her truly fantastic parents and i are appalled because a happier more normal and delightful little girl is being sidelined and labelled as depressed pat suggestions please Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
