Guest guest
I can't seem to increase my intracellular magnesium. I've been taking magnesium orally for over a year and transdermally (by skin) for about 3/4 months however a recent test showed my intracellular level is still low (along with zinc + potassium which I am also supplementing). Any ideas as to why this might be? I am confused as I have read some sources saying that low magnesium is kept low from a hypothyroid and others saying that low magnesium can stop the thyroid hormone getting into cells. Sounds like a nasty vicious circle! Any solutions from you bright people!? Thanks. Best wishes, J
