Guest guest
Dear Value Pharmaceuticals, Thank you for your response. However, I remain confused! If we can buy prescription drugs from other Internet Pharmacies in the US without a prescription, what is the regulation that has been changed? There is no problem with importing medicines for personal use in the UK, as far as I can see it, none of the law has changed, neither has it changed in US. Can you please clarify which particular regulation is upsetting you that is not, apparently, affecting other pharmacies? The Bill talks about importers and exporters. I have read the Bill and it seems to intend to regulate import of prescription drugs into the US and not the export of these drugs. By importers the bill is referring to importing drugs in the US, and by exporters it is talking about entities that export drugs to the US (many US Internet Pharmacies do the opposite). Value Pharmaceuticals would be considered an exporter under this Bill if you have customers in the US. The Bill also talks about Internet sites. Again it seems to regulate transactions within the US and not exporters. For example it requires a prescription from a physician licensed in the US. How could that possibly apply to an individual living in the UK? Furthermore, as far as I am aware, this Bill has not yet been approved and passed into law. When it is passed into law, it seems like it would not go into effect for another 90 days after that. I don't see the significance of January 10th. As you can see, I need clarification in detail as to why you now require a prescription to ship to your UK customers, so that I can let our 2717 members know the true facts. This must include the particular regulation in the Bill that you say has been changed, so we can put this in perspective. For all Countries regulations are changing. Problems in the UK do not allow doctors to write prescriptions for natural thyroid extract. I run Thyroid Patient Advocacy and an Internet Thyroid Support Forum and I have just over 2710 members, the majority of who need NDT and buy from your pharmacy. I need to be able to reassure my members that their ordering will not be affected for those in the UK.
