I can attest to that, I went to the doc to try and get her to do something about

my Ferritin levels (too HIGH) namely a genetic test, she flatly refused. Then

she said that as I hadn't had any over the top relief of symptoms with the B12

injection (one single injection) she wasn't going to do the rest of the course.

THEN she said, in front of my husband that maybe being the way I am is me, and

that I seem to have deep seated psychological problems.

I really can't understand the mentality of someone who goes into a 'caring'

profession, who so blatantly doesn't care a toss about their patients.

The feeling over the last few months, that most NHS doctors are incompetents who

couldn't make it in the real world. Who are in doctoring just to warm the chair

and wait for their vastly inflated pension.

Hi , I need to reply further indepth to my experience yesterday.

But, have you now realised, when shaking a doctors hand, why it is warm?

I think it's the the complete reverse of how we feel, " cold hands, warm

heart " , they have " warm hands, cold heart " . Just a cynical observation?

- I cannot agree more - that has been my experience during most of my

life. As someone who has quite a number of health issues I seem to be readily

labelled as a hypochondriac or psychotic, which is why, if I can afford it, I

look outside the NHS. I chased up a referral yesterday only to find my GP hadn't

dictated the referral letter yet (I saw him nearly a month ago). Hopeless.

Sorry, just had to join in the rant.

Seasons' greetings everyone.
