Recommendations for folate?

I've just had my latest results back - didn't get ref ranges, I did ask but the

GP didn't give them and I didn't realise she hadn't until I'd put the phone

down. Doh. But same units as previously so I'm using the same ranges.

My B12 is much better - 755 (range 180-1130), up from 389 last time; My D3 is 73

(75+) up from 47.8; and my short synacthen hit 634 (ref. 540nmol/l +), last time

it was 538 and was cause for concern. Of course that now means there's nothing

at all to concern the endo *sigh* but after our appointment I'm not expecting

her to do anything.

I feel sharper in my head - less brain fog which is just bliss. I'm going to

keep taking the supps though, I want that B12 higher!

Anyhoo back to the folate - last time it was 7.1 (3-20), this time it's only

gone up to 7.7. I've not been taking any specific supplement - I've been

focused on getting the D3 and B12 up so far. Any recommendations for the

folate?

I'm also looking at getting myself retested for my thyroid probably in january -

I have results from August as the most recent, the one thing that's never been

(and never will be, by the NHS) tested is my antibodies. Is it worth just

getting that checked, and is there anywhere that just does that test at a

sensible price (i.e. less than the full panel - keep finding it but for more)?

I did find it at CNS for (I think) £55 - is that the best I'll get?

Thanks,

Niki
