Guest guest
What is the difference between the dl or the d in the tocophorel in vitamin E? I know there is also another vitamin E. Something like tocophoreyl. Is that any good?

Guest guest
One vitamin is natural, made from vegetable oil, and the other, having the same name but a little difference prefix, is from crude oil. So take your pick...One is very effective, and the other much less, and in accordance with a report from a university, not effective at all. . Guest guest
d-tocopherol is a natural vitamin E, whereas dl-tocopherol is synthetic and is made from crude oil... A new report just released claims that the synthetic version is practically useless. .
Guest guest
the one made from crude oil works for me... it helps my back, neck ect... the one made from vegetable oil makes me vomit. so if I had to choose I'll take the crude oil. Guest guest
I disagree! You are going to have to produce that report! Guest guest
Tom Currious about something. If the one with vegetable oil makes you sick, does other things with vegetable oil do the same? I remember when I look way, way back at the beginning of all my stomache problems, vegetable soup(campbel's ) made me throw up everytime. Other things did it to me latter. But I do remember that was one of the first foods that really got to my guts. Thanks Debbie tom dalton <tdalto-@...> wrote: original article:cures for cancer/?start=2642 > the one made from crude oil works for me... it helps my back, neck > ect... > > the one made from vegetable oil makes me vomit. > so if I had to choose I'll take the crude oil. > > > > MINDBRAIN@... wrote: > > > > One vitamin is natural, made from vegetable oil, and the other, having the > > same name but a little difference prefix, is from crude oil. > > So take your pick...One is very effective, and the other 25% less. > > . > >
Guest guest
Debbie...maybe your family tree goes back to the McBrides which were a bitter rival of the s and that's why it made you sick. Or maybe your mother made you eat/drink cream of spinich or broccoli. JR
Guest guest
Okay.. I can see it coming. The " Whey " reports are fast fading into the sunset and the Vit. E panic is blossoming. Personally I prefer the crude oil type, 10-30 with a Fram filter. Keeps out the harmful bacilli (or is that ba-silly). JR the one made from crude oil works for me... it helps my back, neck ect... the one made from vegetable oil makes me vomit. so if I had to choose I'll take the crude oil. Guest guest
Thanks Michele, I have such dry skin, it's really awful. It cracks and bleeds all the time. I have noticed a lot of improvement since taking the Udo's oil, using the cellulite cream and now I think I'll get some of the lotion enriched with the vitamin E. Thanks again, and have a great day! Sincerely, Tami
Guest guest
Tami If you are taking Vit E, open up a capsule and put that on your feet. It is much stronger than a lotion with Vit E. I had surgery about 8 years ago and the Doctor (he was very progressive) said there was nothing better for skin and I put it on my stitches and have hardly any scar. I have seen this elsewhere for sever, problem skin. Rea
Guest guest
Hi Tami, It sounds like you are doing just fine. Yes I take Vitamin E everyday and I have been since using the products. I have since done further research on it and it's great for everyone, especially women. I know that it is good for your heart. I also use a cocoa butter lotion like Rashelle suggested. I found one with Vitamin E in it as well at GNC and I love it!!!!!! It's the best lotion I have used for daily maintenance of my skin. I hope this helps some more! Thanks, Michele
Guest guest
Wow, this is so good to know! I take the vitamin E and love the effects it seems to have on my skin, now I'll try it externally. Thanks so much! SIncerely, Tami
Guest guest
Hi Tami, Yep this is a good idea as well. They also have topical Vitamin E that you can buy in a health food store or at GNC. I purchased a gel E to use on paper cuts and stuff. It really does work wonders. Michele

Guest guest
Thought I should check out what I might be Impregnating myself with, before shelling out for it, Toity. From responses so far, buying it would give me a beautiful, wrinkle-free bum, but rats in my down-pipe. On the other hand, humour is always good, and a giggle each time I 'paid a visit' might be worth paying for! Guest guest
Scarey! Mine has NO scent to it at all..And as far as I know it isn't supposed to.. It is healing, but mainly for scars, use aloe vera next time u get a sun burn, it is very cooling and soothing and healing. Vinegar takes the pain out as well:o) Sorry I cannot tell you more about the vit e you have. Karla ----- Original Message ----- Hello Everyone. At the risk of sounding not very wise, I have a question about vitamin e. I have been using it for awhile (the one I have just says usp grade) and I've never actually smelled it. Yesterday, I got a really bad sunburn on my face; I decided to use straight vit e as I thought it should be healing, As soon as I put it on, it started to sting. When I smelled it, it smelled almost like teatree (very medicine like) so I washed it off right away. Is this the way vitamin e is supposed to be? I just assumed it had no smell and very healing. Maybe I was way off. Thanks.
