I have been hypo since 08. I had my son sept 2007 went hyper in the November

then extremely hypo come January. I was started on thyroxine and worked my way

up to 125 was doing great eventually. In 2010 I gave birth to my 3rd child my

pregnancy was wonderful with him my thyroxine was never increased my whole

pregnancy. At 5 wks my dr increased me to 150 but it sent me hyper so i had to

drop back to 125. I finished breastfeeding him last November and started back at

the gym was doing great... My T4 at this stage was 23 (10-25) January 11 came

and I had my second period since his birth in July.. I felt horrific just that

old way when you know something's changed. My T4 was 18 dr said its not thyroid

related your probably depressed.. You know the usual. As the year continued I

felt worse & worse my ibs returned got terrible reflux was anxious, etc etc all

my hypo traits. In May my dr finally agreed to increase my thyroxine to see if

it helps I went to 125/150 T4 didn't really budge but I didn't go hyper which

was promising, after a few good weeks it returned I felt crap & asked to be

increased again to 150.

This has been the saga all year.. I went to 150/175 now I'm on 175 and I'm still

not feeling right. My latest bloods were t4 19 tsh 0.10 (0.10-3.30) T3 4.8

(3.0-7.0)

My ferrittin was 26 (7-150) in feb I took iron and got that up to 87. My dr ran

b12, vitd etc and said all were ok.. I guess as I haven't gone hyper yet I'm on

the right track? If this latest increase doesn't correct things I font know what

I'll do as my dr will not increase any further.. She will not go down the T3

route even hates testing it...

During this time I've had a pelvic scan, colonoscopy, & endoscopy.. All normal.

Anyone any idea?
