Guest guest Posted December 22, 2011 Report Share Posted December 22, 2011 Hi Helen,Don't Know what age you are, But at the time people, my elder sister's included were using a product to put grey streak's into hair a fashion thing for a while. I of course had it naturally. It came in a bottle and was like a powdery substance and it had a brush like a mascara wand that you used to apply it, i think that's what they thought i was using and was breaking the rules. Sisters also had lovely curly hair which used to iron for them while i had a head full of rollers. I was not grey all over i remained streaky and still have some dark hair (i think) this was the late sixties so you can tell how old i am 57 next Birthday January 17th. Also i came to appreciate my long straight hair when the style changed. Wish i'd kept some and put it in a grow bag.
