Recently, helpful info posted here pointed at ebay as a valid source for

Lugol's.

In my usual curiosity I searched further and found a seller (tobymall) making a

'holiday offer' for a liter of 2.2% for $60.

This seller's feedback rating is 100% and I saw no reason not to give this a try

as it is a very good deal which fits well into my lack of available funds...

That was over a week ago, and there is no valid evidence that it was ever

shipped as the tracking number (reluctantly) provided comes up with zero info at

the USPS site.

I obtained the user's contact info and phoned=> reached an anonymous VM=> and

left a message & no callback came, pretty much as expected.

It seems this seller uses a business name in MT of 'The Center for Complemenary

and Alternative Health'.

Also, in the week+ timeframe I have emailed 2x via ebay and 1x to their direct

address and eventually got only one terse response which told me it had been

marked 'shipped' by accident and would ship soon.

Then the useless (fake maybe ?) tracking # appeared.

-IF- this seller can be trusted to provide good quality Lugol's it may be a

valid source...BUT:

My experiences over 5+ years time with ebay is that there ARE some bad apples

who just take money and...that's all that ever happens until/unless ebay helps a

refund to happen, which is not always possible.

So, in case anyone else saw this offer:

" CHRISTMAS SPECIAL OFFER $60 AND WE WILL ACCEPT THE BEST OFFER. IT IS OUR WAY OF

SAYING THANK YOU. MAKE A BEST OFFER OF $60 FOR 1 LITER

Lugol's 2.2% Lugols Iodine Solution (made with Mined Iodine Crystals)

1 Liter (33.8 oz) also included 5 empty 2 oz amber glass bottles with glass

droppers and lids.

Regular price: $215.95 shipping $6.95

Picture does not deplict actual container but does deplict picture of included 2

oz bottles.

This formula contains 2.2 % of Iodine and 4.4% Posassium Iodide with 93.4%

distilled water. one verticle drop contains approximately 2.75 mg of iodine.

Iodine is a atom and iodide is a negative charged ion. Our iodine is derived

from mined crystals, not from shellfish, sea weed or kelp. Some people have

allergies to shellfish, kelp and sea weed, so it is much safer to used iodine

derived from mined crystals. "

Presently I must say=> proceed with caution, if at all.

I will post an update should I actually get anything from this...

Best Wishes to All !
