I just found out that I tested positive (off the charts) for excessive lead and mercury, and to a lesser extent, cadmium, antimony, uranium, and tungsten. I know that the companion nutrients help rid the body of halides, but does anyone know if they can also help with the heavy metal detox?> My naturopath gave me a choice of in-office detox using IV DMSA for twelve weeks in a row, or using a less severe method of l.glutathione orally at home. Guest guest
Hi Bonnie, I also have a mercury tattoo (mine is under my tongue). They are from having 'silver' fillings, which are loaded with mercury. Thankfully I had all my mercury fillings removed almost 20 years ago by a dentist trained by Dr. Hal Huggins. Guest guest
Sorry should have been an amalgam tattoo. It's where the mercury from the amalgam leaks into the gum or skin. https://www.google.com/search?q=amalgam+tattoo & hl=en & prmd=imvns & tbm=isch & tbo=u & source=univ & sa=X & ei=1W_uTsowhKmwAqvkiO8D & sqi=2 & ved=0CCgQsAQ & biw=1440 & bih=785 Buist, ND HC iodine and heavy metals positive test> > > > I have been taking Iodoral (25 mg.) for about a month, along with the companion nutrients. Guest guest
My dentist was trained by Hal Huggins too - he removed all 11 of my fillings. My tattoo was near my root canal tooth that I had removed to my dentist just cut it out as part of the surgical procedure. Guest guest
Mine is on the thingy that is under the tongue, don’t know what that’s called; so unfortunately he couldn’t cut it out. It's still there as a reminder of how archaic dentistry can be! Guest guest
Thank you so much for providing this information. Holy guacamole. No wonder I am still suffering. I have a few of these along my gum line and didn't know what they were.
