Guest guest
Also, regarding infections and iodine, I read discussion somewhere that gave the idea that perhaps the thyroid is like a sterilization point. It has the highest levels of iodine, and eventually, all the blood you have has to pass through there. So then being saturated with iodine may be a good help to preventing infection. Bartonella unfortunately colonizes the walls of blood vessels so a lot of it has to be reached by the antimicrobial substance, rather than allowing the bug reach the antimicrobial substance. In HIV for example, there is a history of successful treatment by sticking 2 silver electrodes in an artery and running a small current between them. This generates silver ions locally. Eventually, all the blood passes through there and the bugs die when barraged by the silver ions. Could be similar to a healthy thyroid? > > > > > > So I have worked up to 250mg lugol's (also done it by iodoral). No more detox reactions. Only took a few weeks. I seemed to feel that taking it via the tablets tended to give a little more detox reaction than the drops. > > > > > > Anyway, I want to know if there is a limit one can take safely. I want to work up to the max max max possible to test iodine as an infection killer for me. I have an unkillable chronic bartonella infection and this is just one more improbable thing I must try. > > > > > > I had read that up to 3000mg SSKI was used historically to treat infection. > > > > > > I also plan to turn it into " liposomal " lugol's iodine. Liposomes can really amp up the effectiveness of things sometimes. > > > > > > So ya...please help me find some safe parameters for self experimentation. > > > > > > Thanks, > > > > > > > > >
