Guest guest
Hi Sandy, I don’t know about the Patheo diet but I am sure you could google your question about rice. I do know, however, that rice does not have gluten. This subject is not about iodine, so could you please move this discussion to the Iodine Off Topic Group. Here is the link: IodineOT/ Thanks! -Kathleen moderator Re: Regarding the issue of weight gain while on Lugal's iodine thera Hi - tells us to stay away from gluten - which I am doing. Also not eating grains, bread or pasta now. Am leaning towards the Patheolithic diet where possible. I will sure as hell miss those potatoes white, pink and sweet, we also now have an Hawaiian white potato which is purple in the middle and is just fab. This year I grew the most wonderful yellow butter beans and telegraph climbing beans which are black - yummy. I also love peas which are NOT in this diet. Does anyone know - is RICE included in the grains not to be eaten either in the Patheo diet or because Rice has gluten ? Sandy
Guest guest
Rice doesn't contain gluten. Wheat, barley and rye do.
