Guest guest
I'd like to check for my mom, now 60years old, how much iodine she should take. She was diagnosed with breast cancer about a week ago, and she started on Lugol's 5 days ago. She is very determined to get better and take care of herself. So she was up to 150mg within the first 4days. She is on low carb natural diet, I'm a qualified nutrionist and she is taking all the information that I give. She is taking companion nutrients. Should she aim right to 200mg or even more? Her lump will be removed probably within a month or so. Susa in Finland
Guest guest
Yes it is generally recommended that people fighting cancer attempt to get to 200-300 mgs / day. If you have detoxing issues then you need to back off and work your way off. I beat thyroid cancer with 125 mgs / day so it isn't an exact science. It is important that you concentrate on detoxing as well. Mercury amalgam fillings are a big factor - I removed 11 fillings and a root canal tooth and then chelated for over 1 year. Far Infrared Saunas are great to get the toxins out. Also a formal liver detoxification protocol is a great idea to help clean the body out so it can deal with the dying cancer cells. Check into the Gerson protocol too. Buist, ND HC Mom with breast cancer I'd like to check for my mom, now 60years old, how much iodine she should take. Guest guest
Hello Susa, Sounds like you have your mother on the right track! You might want to check out The Gerson Therapy. Here is the link. www.gerson.org . They have a very good success rate with healing cancer and other degenerative diseases. Lugol's is one of the materials used in the therapy as well.
